Something nice for the final episode, purely staged because it's impossible getting all housemates to go to bed at the same time. 2/2 #CBB
Maybe so, but it still highlights what is so wrong about what this show has become.

The nomination tampering, the possibility that it can be scripted in this sort of way, the changing the rules of voting after 23 hours of lines being open (Marnie/Chloe Bottom 2).

It is amazing to me how people continue to defend the producers of this show when it has so completely urinated over its long standing and well liked format.

I suspected there was something staged about Bear's diary room tantrum too because that door broke way to easily.

I got the feeling this series that every group convo was either scripted or at least cued by the producers.

It's over. We need to find something else to watch.

They do this every series, it always looks obviously staged. No surprise really.

Never used to do it on Channel 4. You know why... There was 24/7 live coverage and they weren't interested in making everything fit nicely. They were interested in presenting the reality of the day.

If the last two up on the last night were Anthony and Craig, than that's what would be shown. You wouldn't get direction from the production for scenes.

I really don't get some of you. You don't seem to understand the slope this show has been on for the last few years...

1. They used to interfere with noms every now and then and were allowed to get away with it. Now it's non-stop and to such an extent no one knows what the rules even are anymore. We just know that they make those up depending on what result they want after the noms have come in. The show is well on its way to being an outright fix.

2. They never would have allowed housemates to be evicted without a public vote in the past. The first time they did it was with Marlon a couple of years ago and then despite the complaints they then did it a week later with Danielle as well. In the last series it was even worse. And in the next series it will get worse again. Why? Because people just will defend it! You will have a situation soon where someone who the public have just voted to save will be evicted the following night by the housemates in some "Twist" the production team seem to think is really exciting rather than just alienating.

3. Now there's them directing a scene like this. Yes, it may be a one off. They may have done it before on Channel 5, but the moment you start doing stuff like this, the possibility is already there to do more of it. Big Brother is supposed to be a raw reality show. Not like all this other scripted reality crap that infests television. why do shows like BB and even X Factor and BGT incorporate this stuff? They have their own tried and tested format that are popular with the audience, and then because some of other shows, like TOWIE, are popular with an audience (though much less popular than any of the shows I've mentioned) they allow them to influence them and usually to the complete ambivalence of most viewers.

I've tried to argue again and again that this show had a perfect format that didn't need to be tampered with at all. The only thing they needed to do is find a good mix of housemates and it would work beautifully. Instead, they destroyed the format of this show and seem to just get worse year after year, to the point where even hardcore fans have just given up trying to understand what the hell is going on. It's a total mess.

they knew it was being aired live, probably thought the viewers would enjoy seeing how they film those bits....but one you start peeling that onion

One has to ask the question why did they schedule all those takes to happen late at night during live feed, when they had the whole day to do them. I think the producers are trying to introduce the idea that it is a scripted show rather than reality, to set it all up nicely for the next series where they wont even pretend its reality

I should be surprised that they are so inept they actually aired it on the live coverage. But I'm not even surprised by that now.

Ricky said as much at the beginning of live feed when Bear asked if he thought they would get more alcohol, he said they will tell us what they have laid out for us for the evening or something along those lines I've said for years that certain events were too coincidental and must have been staged but have been shot down by some

That doesn't sound too bad. Them going to the diary room and asking for alcohol and being told whether there will be or won't be is fair enough. if they are essentially telling them there will be a party later and they want them to act in a certain way, then that's a problem.

It's just the idea that you would even script a scene that opens the possibility of them doing more of that. Add to it the lack of any rules for noms now, the twists that seem to be designed to work against certain people, evictions without public votes and even changing what the rules of a vote are in the last hour (Marnie/Chloe eviction), and it really has hit an all time low. Rylan being able to rehearse for the X Factor tour was ridiculous and who knows what that consisted of. He was no doubt going off to another studio every other day. The show is beyond saving at this point unless they get someone in who actually genuinely cares for it, which even us sad cases on forums don't anymore.

Ricky wasn't talking about alcohol! he was saying they would have to wait and be told what to do, which could understand if he said that at 11am as they might have a task? But at midnight do they need to be told what do to do?

Yeah but was that in regard to the final tomorrow (now today)? The producers have always told them what sort of time they need to be sat down for evictions and whether or not there might be some alcohol coming later. That's all fair enough. It's the scripting of a scene that troubles me. Along with all the other crap.

No he said they would have to wait and see what BB had laid out for then for the rest of the evening,ie as in last night he didn't say tomorrow, because they were talking about alcohol and whether they would get any more I'd have to again for exact words but that was the gist of it

They definitely didn't do in the early years. But maybe since Channel 5 took over they have.

I can't make anybody do anything, but I'd suggest people shouldn't vote tonight, and I'd also suggest people should take to social media asking others not to vote.

People power!
