I'm glad he said that Nadia should win. Regardless to her past and her irratating persona (Victors view) he has a lot of respect for her. She has been herself in there and I think she deserves to win more than anyone else. She isn't after fame she is after acceptance.

I'm astounded by how many people have bought into Nadia's "I only want acceptance" routine. The old sympathy act does it again. I just can't like the woman, she really irritates me. She shouts down anyone who disagrees with her in that screeching incomprehensible way, but seems to get away with it. She goes into the Diary Room, and rather than ask straight out for some smokes, she does the whole crying act "Oh I want to leave, I'm just not having fun anymore." What a load of c**p.
And now she's started the "I'm so fat, I wish I was pretty" routine, she bound to get a few more suckers to fall for her sympathy act. If she wins BB cos people feel sorry for her, I will be totally disgusted. |

Well I personally think they're all doing the sympathy thing, after all how you described Nadia being a sympathy seeker I think Jay is actually doing a good job himself with the old 'let's distance myself from everyone and go into the diary room and tell BB I am ready to leave now because I can't even sit and have a beer near them, but let me sleep on it tonight and get back to you in the morning' attitude, knowing very well he wasn't going to get up and leave BB so close to the end. Jay seems to be playing a good game at the moment as well as the rest. As for Nadia shouting down she mainly provides a chuckle after the shouting down which to me means 'hello im joking', I find the gal completely entertaining, and feel that her and Shell seem to be the only two that don't play up to the camera. Nadia's way of crying because she has no smokes is because she knows very well if she asked out right for smokes BB would say NO, so what's the point.
Cut Nadia some slack and make sure you observe everyone not just the one's you dislike! |

Me as well. I dont like the tactics that Nadia uses. The tears about fags is the thing that gets up my nose the most. I think that Victor was spot on with his comments about the HMs. He after all is in a better position to discuss them as he has been trapped with them for weeks. I was never keen on Victor but that said feel his comments mirror my own about certain HMs so I have deicded to be fickle and like him - so there

The whole country seem to be cutting Nadia some slack, so I think i will continue not to!!!
And to say that Nadia is not playing up to the camera's is a little naive. Every time she's in the DR, she's playing up to the camera's. They all play up to the camera's (and especially Shell), but it's a natual cosequence of being watched all day. And I don't believe it's acceptable to be obnoxious and rude, and shout people down, and then put a little (!!) laugh at the end to show that she's joking. She still gets her message across, but by laughing at the end she doesn't get challenged about it. She's a lot more manipulative than people give her credit for. But, she's playing the game well, which Vic has recognised and applauded her for. I just don't think her way of playing is worthy of applause, and if it were not for Michellle, all my hard earned pennies would be spent voting her out. |

I understand and appreciate your opinions!
I do agree they're all playing up to the camera of which I did think I put in my message, but may be not! But they all do play up to the camera, like you say they all know that they're being watched and therefore need to perform to be able to be in with a chance to win. I guess nobody knows what can give you the chance to win, Vic was entertaining with his attitude along with Jay, but rather than keeping them in it makes them the most hated housemates, then you have the quiet one's who say nothing thinking they will win but then we all see that the real peeps are not coming out, then there are those who do things to make everyone happy, Dan and Stu (mainly). I envy all the hosuemates for going in there, it must be the toughest game to play! commend them all! |

Good to hear you haven't fallen for Nadia's routine, and if you genuinely like her more than the others, then that's cool. I just don't want someone to win BB cos people feel sorry for them.
As for the smokes, I'm a smoker, and i smoke quite a lot. But my parents don't know and would kill me if they did (I'm 26 for goodness sake, but my Dad really hates smoking). But i can go a few hours (or even a weekend when I do the dutiful son bit and stay over) without bawling like a child. Nadia's a little too melodramatic about it for my liking, and i think it's all done for show. Which is one of my real dislikes in life. Rather than knuckle down and see it as a challenge worthy of rising to, she cries and becomes hysterical, hoping that someone else will sort it out for her. But hey, if we all liked the same people, how boring would the world be... Shell would probably be Queen of that world |

You can go without ciggies whilst around your father for a weekend because you don't want your father knowing that you smoke but Nadia has nothing to hide as far as thats concerned.
She is being honest about her emotions at all times, when she has no ciggies, when someone says something that upsets or annoys her etc etc. To be honest with you I would perfer my kids to be honest with me as far as smoking is concerned. I would hate for them to feel that they can't approach me about anything. |

Rather than Nadia being honest about her emotions at all times, I think it's more to do with either a lack of self control, or being manipulative. I don't think crying like a little child to get your own way is being honest. Like a child, she's learnt pretty quickly that if she makes a big enough scene, there's a good chance she'll get what she wants.
And I can usually talk to my Dad about anything (he was a little taken aback when I told him about my trip to a turkish brothel on holidays, but hey, he's a man of the world!!), but smoking is a big no no with him. As he's an ex smoker, the converts are always the worse!! Strangely, he has no problem with my occaisional smoking of weed, but I think the idea of me smoking 20 a day would really annoy him. |
