I'm completely going to fail my exam. Well tof, I probably won't fail but I'm expecting like 50-65% at the VERY best.

They don't do Intermediate paper anymore. Just Higher and Foundation which is a bit of a p**s take.
How?

Because for someone like me, i would of taken Intermediate.... but i had NO choice on my choice of Maths. They just decided for me that i was going to do Higher. I think its really unfair that i was unable to choose what paper i wanted to do. I knew i would do awful on the higher but i still had to do it, and it was unfair.

Default The Official GCSE Thread

Instead of posting lots of different threads, heres a thread where you can talk about it.

Okay, i had my English and ICT today.
English was okay, nothing too difficult, but it was hard, ive hopefully passed, i mucked up on the poems but feel like i did better on Of Mice And Men.

And then my ICT.... Wtf!! It was soo random, i actually dont think i knew hardly anything!!! It was soo impossible! I mean what a stupid question when it came up with a pilot and something about weather conditions and stuff like that!! What does that have to do with IT!!!

It was soo bad, everyone came out laughing about how unrelevant the exam was.

Good idea.
My English Lit today was...okay..
I wrote crap for 2 and a half hours, but my questions on An Inspector Calls and To Kill a Mockingbird were both predicted by my teacher, so we were all like WOOOOOOOOOOH.
Whether I answered them well enough, though, is a different question. :L
Well I wrote 5 pages for each question, so that must be good, eh? But I suppose it's all quality over quantity!
^^ Sorry, couldn't resist.

I had English.

And we get choices what to do right for the poetry well I thought there was only 2 choices which were both hard but I chose one.

Anyway at the end of the exam i'm told they're was a 3rd question I could have done and it was easier. Ahhhh well, I think I did ok. You can never tell with English. I was sitting at the front which I hate as the invidulators stand over you.

To kill a mockingbird wasn't too bad. Kind of rushed the end though. Also I didn't have time to read back on the essay's which I was gutted about.

Biology tomorrow.

I might go and cry.

Apparently i went for the hardest poetry question which really annoys me... i should have done the easiest, i dont know why, I just nose dived into the question without thinking.

I done my English Lit today too
To Kill A Mocking Bird & An Inspector Calls questions, altogether about 1hr 20mins, then the rest of the time for Poetry question.

Some people had it differently, with a choice of poems? I never got a choice of poems

But I think it went quite well, I never messed up the time, I'm pleased

Hope you did well Josh!!

And the paper was out of 66, so can anyone make any predictions on what you think a B and a C would be? because then i would roughly know what i got.

What bit didn't you get taught?? Was it the Higher where it's D to A* stuff? Cause people in the lower sets doing higher in my year aint getting taught most of the A* stuff. Mind you Salv, on the higher you don't need a very high mark to get a C i'm sure. Hense only some of the work is C- grade.

And I have my Maths Higher Terminal on the first June [my birthday]. I need 70sumin% to get an A overall and 92% to get an A*.. wahhh A it is then.
