Katie Price apparently not entering house

It looks like Katie Price will not become a housemate after she posted a number of messages on her Twitter account saying she was leaving the country on holiday. eg. From https://twitter.com/MissKatiePrice Katie Price had been rumoured to be going in after a story in the Daily Mail said she had agreed a six-figure deal for the remaining three weeks of the series. However, it seems unlikely that Channel 5 would have budgeted to pay a high fee to a replacement housemate, and if someone like Katie Price was entering Celebrity Big Brother it would be from the beginning of a series. There had been speculation that a new housemate would enter the house on Friday after Jeremy and Ken were removed from the house, and presenter Emma Willis said that the housemates would get a 'big fat fabulous surprise' after Friday's eviction. It has also been rumoured that US reality TV celebrity, Austin Armacost could enter the house on Friday after he Tweeted that he was travelling to England.

I like Katie. But I'm glad she's not going in. I think she's quiet a big name, and I think they should keep her for another series, rather than adding her as a late entry for a series with a women dominated house full of drama and tension.
