Because as a very observant member posted earlier - he is using it as a comfort blanket.

He is clearly regressing from a 10 year-old to a 2 year-old as we watch.

No way a man of his bulk feels the cold - IT IS HIS COMFORT BLANKET. The 'tough guy' has a comfort blanket.
