Who was in the right in the David/Bea arguement tonight?

I could see where David was coming from.

I think Bea's gone on Friday anyway.

Bea is a huge gameplayer.

I'm on Davids side obviously. I'm also glad he stood up for himself so strongly. Fair play to him. Beas attempt to villify him blew up in her face.

David, Bea played him, she licked is arse all week and made sure he wouldn't vote for her. Then implied she wasn't going to vote for him, then voted for him and said she didn't:mad:

He did not object to her nominating him only to the fact that she said she did not nom him.

Then she made it worse with her excuse.

I'm on Davids side. She should of used her common sense and nominated someone who is unlikely to be up for eviction. That's why I would of done.

David has done so much for her. She could of just nominated someone else like Charlie or Siavash or even Lisa.

19-08-2009, 09:22 PM
Well her reason was lame lets be honest, Charlie spat water in her face and she was that annoyed that she kept the others up with her lecturing, Rodrigo laughed at her histrionics when mum did not give her a message and David comforted her. How could she ever come out of this blameless.

davids side

oh.really
19-08-2009, 09:22 PM
I thought it was all really funny until Lisa chipped in. She's only pissed because one of her henchmen has been put up for eviction and you can tell from the look on her face when Davids name was announced how shocked she was.

I'm on Bea's side, much as I hate to say it, they can nominate who they want.

David,Why didn't Bea nominate Charlie after he spat water in her face,or even Marcus or Siavash she betrayed yet another who befriended her

Well anyone who is on Beas side is ignorant. Of course you have to nominate 2 people, but if you're really close to someone for a whole week and even tell others how david & you have made a fresh start & are so close now (when roddy was in the bath the morning after the charlie argument) then you can assume they'd not nominate you over others she'd continuously moaned about all week.

Thus, she was stating the obvious saying she had to nominate 2 people, her reason was **** and made up to try and dig herself out of a hole.

For once I'm with the sausage, david.

David was right, but the "I'm not botherd 'bout the numinaaation stuff" was just ridiculous. Of course you're bothered or you would have left it at that. They're both prats anyway.

If Bea said that Tuesday followed Monday, I would not believe it and if I looked on a calendar, I still would not believe it because Bea said it.

By definition Bea is always wrong!!!

Hate bea and dislike David, was on nobodys side, but think David over reacted, at least she nominated, Sophie & Siavash didnt (even though i do like them they were in the wrong haha).

I may start disliking Bea instead of hating her, but will never like her for what shes done, but in the house im starting to feel a wee bit sorry.

Neither, I thought that what Bea did was a bit off, but David and Lisa's melodrama wound me up as well. Serves them right for looking over her obvious scheming and bitchiness in the hopes that she would come over on to their side.

bea was nominated by siavash and sophie she had no indication why but she didnt have a tantrum, she also knew lisa voted her but she didnt confront her,she probably voted david because she knew she would be up and he would be the only other housemate she had a chance against, based on them both not being original housemates, its a game shes playing it hes having a tantrum

I thought nominations were part of the game. If BB hadn't relaxed the rules on discussing them then David wouldn't have known. Regardless, it's all part of the game, lying deceiving etc. However, David behaved like a big girls blouse when he found out. He should just have asked Bea why she lied and left it at that instead of turning it into the event of the year.

David was understandably upset, she blatantly lied to his face when he asked her if she'd nominated him. Good for him for giving her a hard time over it, she's done more than her fair share of giving people a hard time over anything she see's fit to do so, so kudus to David.

She does have that right. She also has the right to tell everyone in the house that they are ba*tards, losers and every nasty word under the sun - Doesn't make it morally correct or justified.

David the dumbo thought by being nice to her, she wouldn't nominate him this week ..
Well they struck up a good friendship, and he was the PRIMARY HM there for her on numerous occassions when she was upset. If you strike up a good friendship, you expect some loyalty in return. If Bea can't be nice and loyal ... don't make friends!

And the honesty issue. She lied to him in the kitchen about not nominating him.

So David has been backstabbed by a supposed friend, and lied to. :nono:

Davids was very niaeve with Bea but his heart is in the right place and I bet he is a proper nice guy outside BB - Bea has to go and face her millions of critics

AhmedFan2004

Let's see ...

- David was lied to in the kitchen when Bea said she didn't nominate him
- David was backstabbed by Bea; they struck up a good friendship, he was the primary HM there for her when needed comforting, he was loyal and sincere. So why nominate him?
- She had the audacity to try and cover herself, twist things and project blame onto him, when she had been caught red-handed. She didn't even have the cajones to feel guilty and wronged by her actions.
- She's nominated him every week so far, pretending to be guilty about it last week, when this is obviously a lie. She's a b*tch, clearly.
- Her twisted logic of 'maybe he wanted to be friends so that I didn't nominate him' is just that. No; making friends is under a pre-text of being loyal and courteous. It DOES NOT IMPLY the reverse; wanting loyalty etc and hence striking up a friendship to get it!

So clearly David is in the right, as anyone with a rational mindset would see. But he's not as articulate or calculated as ruthless Bea, so he's susceptible to getting screwed over by her.

Yes, she didn't even have the cajones to tell him the REAL REASON she gave in the DR. She even had to lie about that, how pathetic ...

Her twisted reverse logic of 'Maybe he made friends so I'd not nominate him' was utterly manipulative. Trying to project blame onto others.

No dear, some people make genuine friendships, under a pre-text of basic courtesy and sincerity.

It is YOU, who makes friendships to get x/y/z, backstabbing and lying if need be. STOP twisting things and reversing every scenario you're in.

You are the bully Bea, NOT the victim, YOU are the insincere one making false friendships to achieve x/y/z, not the genuine one.

She's utterly awful, a manipulative praying mantis; waiting to attack her next victim and try and ruin them. Twisting and manipulating everything to try and make them look like the bad guy.

I'm with Siavash. They both looked bad and they were both trying to make the other look bad. I did feel a little sorry for Bea towards the end, but I can understand David's reaction too.
