Why are people STILL hating on the housemates?

I can understand when the show is on, we get carried away with the storylines, and start to dislike and even hate the housemates.

But now it's all over, and after watching BBLB I remembered they were JUST contestants on a gameshow, we never got to know them personally and never got to see every side of them..... plus none of them did anything REALLY bad like murder someone... so I just dont understand why people STILL feel the need to hate :puzzled:

I am over BB10 now! I don't care what they do from now on. Inever buy mags or newpapers with ex-housemates on the cover. I enjoy the show when it is on, but then I forget about it!

Yes but we are still getting the remnants of BB10.
For example I had to watch a replay of the Final and see that disgusting little fukker Freddy with his annoying hat and that sneering passive-aggressive brain damaged little face grinning around and being smug.
So that keeps it alive for a day or two longer.

I have 0 hate for any of the housemates. I still find it interesting though to see what they do now they have left the house.

When housemates leave, they become somewhat acceptable. They become balanced.

I didn't like Freddie or Marcus in the house but post BB, they have appeared decent and friendly. Well I did like them at some points, but not later on.

Others haven't changed this year. In fact, being as bad on the outside just makes you shake your head in disbelief.

I can accept some bad behaviour and dislike a housemate as a contestant because of it but when somebody can't stop playing other people, even after the show then it's shocking.

We then formed opinions etc of how they were in the house.
They are no longer in that house so why are people still projecting hate towards these people, we don't know them from Adam at all.
BB never gave us the chance to get to know them by taking Live Feed away.
So whatever opinions people have of the exHms is exactly what BB intended to give us.
There is absolutely no need to be insulting these people in the slightest, because remember, they are still people.

Just remember, we have never met these people.
We don't know them.

Got to agree with that, even if you watched the live feed overnight when the housemates were awake , the production staff have a 15 minute delay in which to either block the conversations or change camera views. To reduce potential damage to the favoured housemates as per the scripting.

Exactly!! So whatever preconceptions we have of the exHMs are entirely based on how BB wanted to portray them.
Thats why they should get a fair break once they leave the house, IMO.

Siavash haters are the exact embodiment of what I hate about certain Big Brother fans. The guy makes a mistake on national television by cheating on his girlfriend, gets tipsy and spins one or two small lies, likes to wear strange clothes, and decided he was not going to nominate [hardly a genius gameplan as it risked himself being up, simply pandering to the housemates would have been better] all of which we have seen on an edited, one hour a night broadcast

and YET all these thick, holier than thou armchair psychologists across the internet are using it as a chance to take a dump on the poor guy, who NONE of us actualy no in person.

chill out, this whole hating housemates thing is pathetic, it makes me ashamed to be a BB fan. i dunno about you but after finale night, and after the panto of it all, i like the entire lot of em

It is simply because some of the haters, dont really have a life, so they pour all their fustrations into hating on one or two housemates.

Because they pour so much emotion into it, when that housemate is evicted or the series ends they suddenly realise it was just a TV show and the housemate(s) they hated will probably never cross their path again.

This in turn leads to more fustration adding to the original feelings. So they go back to hating the housemate because after it it was that person who caused all the hatred.

They really can't get over it consequently the following series they will refer back to the housemate(s) they hated in the previous series.
