I dont think they would call on a Saturday, Monday or Wednesday a possibility. You just have to be patient. If you dont hear in the next two weeks then your chances are gone.

What has been going on here? I havent been on and all of a sudden there is posts been deleted and people arguing. At the end of the day you can only assume or guess when they will be! Possible housemate may have it right, if you dont hear by end of March perhaps you can safely say that you wont be getting a call.

It can take a week or more because there is a lot to discuss, secret meetings at secret rendezvous, mountains of paperwork you have to get together to bring, pass words, passports, driving licence, rent book, wage slips, medical records, you name it. I'm afraid I cannot say how I know.

Medical records? Nah. The production team only request them from your doctor (and they pay for them too) when you're being taken away into hiding so as to ensure you have a clean bill of health before you enter their care. They're not just something you can demand over the counter at your local surgery and hey presto, lol.

You are quite right!! It is a case of giving your Doctors info where they get and pay for information about your medical history!! You have a Police check and they then decide from their psychologists if you are up to the mark and able to cope with being in the house. And of course not forgetting are you the type of person that the public want to watch!!!

I hate to say this, but you are talking rubbish!! Fact. They do not call you and then make you wait until April!! You go within two days of your call with perhaps the weekend in between. If you put stuff on here, dont make things up! It makes others lose hope!

You should expect a call between mid-March to mid-April, after that consider yourself out. However, there are some exceptions (very few) where people are called after that time as a last-minute change by BB.

Amiin I know for a FACT that calls were being made last week and the week before. I do not know if they are still going on this week, as Ihave not heard anything. But someone seems to think that there is a possibility between March and April, they have not said whether this is fact or just an assumption. I think you should just forget about it for now and if you get a call it will be a pleasant surprise, rather than listening to info that could be wrong!!

Im gutted just now as well because I really wanted to get thru to london callbacks and genuinely thought I would. Ive been picturing what life could have been like as a house mate and how fun and (and challenging) the experience would be.

Dont feel down about it tho. Just think at the end of the day if they dont want to put you thru then obviously they have the power to suit themselves, without a care for the "little mans" feelings. Why should you give them anymore of your time and energy when they cant even be bothered to give you a yes or no answer?

They do not start their callbacks 8wks prior to the shows launch. That is just a ridiculous admission.

Guys, I think elliebelly has a point. You need to just treat it as if you're out right now (odds are you're out) and then if by some real luck you get a call, you can be pleasantly surprised but there is no point in holding onto something that doesnt look very likely.

Im gutted just now as well because I really wanted to get thru to london callbacks and genuinely thought I would. Ive been picturing what life could have been like as a house mate and how fun and (and challenging) the experience would be.

Dont feel down about it tho. Just think at the end of the day if they dont want to put you thru then obviously they have the power to suit themselves, without a care for the "little mans" feelings. Why should you give them anymore of your time and energy when they cant even be bothered to give you a yes or no answer?

I don't think ANYONE will convincingly say they have been called. Why would they? They could jeopardise their chances and ruin all. It is suppose to be top secret from there on, so if it were me I definitely wouldnt say anything. I havent by the way(i didnt even audtition), but it is well known that they are sworn to secrecy.

I dont know if there are call backs still going on, sorry cant be more helpful. It must be horrible waiting and hoping. You may still be lucky, but like others just carry on and forget about it. If you get a call it will be a surprise for you.

Well I rest my case..everything happens for a reason. Spout off and you get rumbled. You should have played lower key!! You should have been yourself that is what they always say. You may have to sit back and enjoy all that goes on in the house from the other side of the T.V. But that isnt so bad, we can safely watch it...eat what we want..drink what we want and so on...so that should be good fun no matter what. : )

Has anyone perhaps considered the possibility of Big Brother making callbacks over the period of a month or maybe a bit longer? But they are only calling a few ppl back a day and then checking forums to see if anyone has been shooting their mouth off that they got a call? or perhaps even checking facebook and bebo sites - see when there most recent activity was then compare it with the time a "yay i got a callback" message appears on a forum? If you get what i mean? Just a thought xxxx

No big deal really, but if they are really keen to get in...they wont want to take the risk. If it gets out, you dont go in. So not worth it in the end.

To be fair though, the amount of anon's and liars in here make it so you don't really know who is who and who is truthful or otherwise. I don't think its that dangerous unless you divulge to untrustworthy sources.

I am guessing the call backs have now taken part - unless they are leaving it very late.. maybe with it being the final series they don't have to be mindful of future series when choosing housemates so can leave it later - maybe I am clutching at straws ... my mate is gutted but told him there is more to live than being on TV
