But it's just the same as all the other crap MTV puts out, the only difference between this and the likes of Lacuna Beach/The Hill/Whatever is that the 'cast' consists of stereotypical latin people. It's brainless and dull and I just do not get it and to be honest I'm grateful.

How are they different? they both feature pretty people who we're meant to care about because they're pretty and (probably) rich. Both are pretty much staged, even if they aren't staged people will put on an act to gain attention. ALL MTV reality shows are the same thing but with different names.

The Hill is obviously staged but I have a feeling that the Real World producers didn't staged 9/11 and hurricane Katrina in the Chicago and Key West seasons

I've watched bits and pieces and it's obvious that the cast members act their way through it and they do so badly, anyone who really thinks ANYTHING coming from an MTV Reality show isn't staged is incredibly naive. Sure it's not fake in the sense that there is a script, but it's basically the equivalent of getting your mates drunk, putting a camera in their face, and telling them it's for YouTube.

As for what I am watching on television that is better than Jersey Shore? I hear Salvation TV is good at this time of night. Or I might just stick with my usual weather channel.

How is watching a full episode meant to prove it's real? I doubt an elephant walks past the screen at random intervals with 'Note to viewer : This is fake' written on it's back.

I can't enjoy something that isn't genuine and is clearly exaggerated. Where is the fun in that? Even is something wild happens in the show my brain would be telling me obviously these guys wouldn't act like that with the cameras off.

Every person in these shows are just carbon copies of each other. Most of the people on these shows are just actors trying to find work. Judging from these shows, it's no surprise. They can't act. I cant even watch The Real World: DC Episode 5 because the website I usually get diffrent links off, only has the MTV Site and that MTV Site takes FOREVER to buffer and theres adverts after advert.

Yeah i noticed, looked at the ratings hugley increase in the US, which must be a sign that its good. The first ep got 1.3m and the 10th episode (last episode) got just under 5m.

It looks very good and have heard lots about it, yeah they should repeat it.

I actually like the girl (the one that said she was an outkast), and Vinnie and "The Situation" are alright. Ronnie came across ok, but i hear that he's not very nice in future episodes.

I got into it straight away. It makes me laugh how full of themselves some people are, and how being good looking can change you.

Not every reality show is fake because it's 'edited'. Even Big Brother is edited to an extent. But certain shows can only be on air for a certain amount of weeks, 1 time a week within a span of one hour per episode. Therefore, all of the footage that has happened over 3-4 months has to be edited down to 12-13 hours.

It may seem hard to believe to you, but Jersey Shore isn't fake either. If you've seen some of them ACTUALLY try to act, you would know that they are complete **** at it. It's all real. Those people are really like that, that's how most young people from Jersey are.

I cant wait! and I totally agree w/ iRyan I mean HELLO EVERY tv show is edited! their not going to be able to put everything on TV. I mean the real world last for 3 months and they only have about 14 episodes so of course A LOT isn't shown but it's like that for all shows ESPECIALLY in America. TMZ reports Jersey Shore’s hated castmember got involved in a fight with Melissa Mayne while on her way to a Celebrity Boxing match.

According to TMZ, Mayne’s lawsuit, filed Dec. 28, says Pivarnick grabbed her, hit her face, threw a glass in her face, and chucked her cell phone across the room.

Pivarnick told TMZ she feels she was “set up, “stating: “That night I feel I was provoked, taunted, and harassed into a fight.”

Pivarnick tells Radar Online Mayne kept harassing her, following her to get a photo and cursing at her, even though the reality star agreed to have her picture taken later.

“She never got knocked out and in fact she said to me, ‘I’m going to take all your money, and then blew me kisses,” Pivarnick tells Radar Online.

TMZ’s video footage of the brawl shows the two exchanging insults and violent threats, with Pivarnick even calling Maynard the C-word, and throwing the cell phone across the room.

TMZ says police came to the scene after the fight and questioned Pivarnick. No one was arrested.

Mayne is also suing the hotel, claiming Trump Taj Mahal security staff did nothing to stop the fight, TMZ says.

According to the tabloid, Angelina’s lawyer says: “We believe Angelina is innocent of any allegations and if there is any legal action, we will fight it vigorously.”

Radar Online says Mayne claims the attack left her with “temporary and permanent bodily injuries” that she “will endure great pain and suffering” from. Mayne says she will have seek physicians and other health care provider’s serivces as a result of the injuries which interrupted her normal business affairs.

As it has been revealed that the cast of ‘Jersey Shore’ will be spending their next season in Italy, details about the trip are finally coming out.

The cast, including Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, will reportedly be leaving in mid-April, states RadarOnline.com. However, a location is reportedly still being found at this time.

Snooki's driver's license was revoked following her Monday afternoon car crash in Florence, and she might be heading to court, Us Weekly confirms.
