Amazing episode tonight they are making Matt's character a lot better now and involving him in the story a bit more rather then keeping him in the background and Stefan staying around should be interesting he is like how Damon use to be now and Damon is on the road to how Stefan was.. his face didn't even change when he saw Elena's blood at the end which i found weird

I think this series has had the best start out off the three.. Season 1 was really slow and nothing really happened for a while it just just all about Stefan and Elena.. Season 2 was all about Katherine at the beginning this Series everyone has been involved in some way in the main storyline

A main character will be leaving Mystic Falls on The Vampire Diaries.

Damon's (Ian Somerhalder) actions will indirectly lead to the departure of a main character when the show returns in January, E! Online reports.

In addition, an "epic kiss scene" is expected to occur in the near future.

Somerhalder recently confessed that he is tired of seeing Damon get his ass kicked on The Vampire Diaries, saying that the volatile vampire gets beaten up too frequently on the CW series.

Series star Paul Wesley recently insisted that Klaus (Joseph Morgan) will not become a good guy on the show, adding that it is important the hybrid vampire remains a villain.

The Vampire Diaries returns with new episodes on January 5, 2012 on The CW.

Hit US TV Show The Vampire Diaries has been pulled from ITV2's listings due to a breach of contract.

It was due to premiere on the 28 February, but in a joint press conference today star Ian Somerhalder and ITV announced the termination of the contract. It is currently unknown what the breach of contract consisted of.

Season 3 of the show began airing in September in the US, on The CW. A fourth season has yet to be announced.

Season Three sucked because it basically one episode she was in love with Damon, the next with Stefan and it got boring, on top of that every episode seemed to be them finding a way to kill the originals but then screwing up by the end of the episode and this was repeated through out season three. Season four looks promising so far

Just caught up on the last few episodes.. can't believe what has happened didn't expect Jeremy to die at all, pretty much had him nailed on to survive til the whole show finishes and then Elena burning the house down to top it all off

The last 2 Episodes have been amazing, the Originals one based around Klaus and Marcel was really good and it was strange seeing a different side to Klaus, he is such a likeable character that you forget about what he has done in the past episodes, the Baby thing is a bit weird though didn't see that coming at all

and the latest episode

Elena getting her humanity back was done at the right time before whole thing started to become stale and the whole scene with Damon killing Matt whilst he was wearing the Ring and the Scene between Stefan Damon and Elena after it was done really well. was hoping Caroline's mum was going to get killed off though she doesn't really serve any purpose at all in the show

Next weeks episode and the Season finale have been set up well now

I'll probably wait for S5 to be on Netflix so I can watch it all and become nauseous from the amount of stakings there are per episode.

There is a good case to be made at this point that it's the most insane, convoluted show ever broadcast.

It has gotten really bad lately, watched the first episode of Series 5 and it felt like i was on another planet.. Jeremy still back from the dead is terrible since his death was well done and now it means its pretty much pointless and the whole Boonie ghost thing in the episode was cringey and the Stefan doppelganger is such a **** idea, the whole doppelganger thing has gotten past the point of boring now. actually want it to be cancelled at the end of this series so they don't make it any worse, they need new Writers quickly for the Originals series before they **** that up as well

Anyone watch the finale?

Wasn't really a shocking ending since it's was obvious they'd find a way to bring people back from the other side after Stefan died + there's no way Damon and Bonnie are gonna be gone forever. Still a really good ep though, the travelers part of the series was definitely the best and picked it up at the end,

I'm kinda sad to see the other side go, it was a great way of bringing back characters. Also Lexi :( I was really hoping she would get through and become a regular character in the show. At least Allaric made it, and I liked the kinda twist with Silas, it seemed like the next season he would be the main bad guy, so it was a surprise to see the nothingness whisk him away.

Lastly I was thrilled to see the sheriff survive, I do really like her and Damon's friendship, and she's kinda the only real adult in the show :laugh:

Watching ITV2 pace but anyone else think this season has been awful? I mean like Jordan said its only gotten marginally better the last episode or so with the whole travelers thing and Enzo has been the only good addition to the show. Other then that I am close to not watching anymore, I hope the next season picks up.

I think its the fact they kill a character off then bring them back the next episode... it gets old and annoying. Just keep them dead, I mean its not like we will miss half of them anyway.
