I didn't understand what Steve and Josie were going on about him swimming in the same ocean as her. What did it mean?

Sorry, don't watch anything other than the HL and it wasn't clear (and before you heap scorn on me for not watching LF think of me as a barometer of how Joe public is likely to be thinking ;) )

Basically, someone in the same situation (feeling jealous). Like "in the same boat as me" have yopu heard that? Same thing.

Steve is jealous because Ben is sharing Keeley's bed & Josie thinks Keeva fancies Crab Eyes.

Thank you both, I understood the expression but didn't know what had prompted it, ie whether Steve was admitting to being jealous over something Keeley-related.

Basically that Josie and Steve are both jealous. Because Josie likes John and she thinks Caoimhe's well in. And Steve likes Keeley, but she's sharing a bed with Ben.
