Before watching the show more and coming on the forums - I used to think people who claimed bb was a fix and favouring certain hms were just poor losers and making a fuss over nothing! But I have changed my mind!

To me, this year in particular, it has been painfully obvious that bb favour their fake 'romance' duo and want them in the final! The double-standards in punishments between those two and other hms, such as Dave, is so blatant - they don't even attempt to hide it!

I think it is disgraceful - especially bearing in mind they are making a fortune out of the public in votes - and is a total rip off! TV Ofcom should investigate it! The last ever series will have a black cloud hanging over it - ruining the memory of it! Opinions please!

John clearly mentioned that he has been looking forward to see who has been nominating him and it clearly put off some from nominating him. So there plan of having face to face noms worked in Johns favour no noms this week.

What a farce! The whole thing was a nonsense and I hope they just allow the public to vote out who they want out in future with the remaining hms left. Its not who they want to win its who we think deserves to win.

Spot on - that is exactly want they want! If they weren't so clever with their wording of the rules and regs - stating that they can make whatever rule changes they wish - it would be fraud, in my book (because of the money involved) - morally it still is!

Josie's talk of nominations last week, along with the others, is a typical example of the double-standards! I thought the bb camera's never miss anything - so how come they didn't see or hear Josie discussing nominations when they heard the rest.

It wasn't until others complained about it on the forums - that Davina announced Josie had indeed discussed nominations and would also be punished! All incredibly suspicious!

Its always been the same. Selective punishments.

The most obvious really, was lisa last year. Getting away with many rulebreaks while others were punished for the exact same thing. The only week she was up for eviction, they changed it to vote to save to give her more of a chance.

The problem is, whilst its housemates YOU support, you dont notice the biased editing etc. quite so much, and think others are moaning about nothing.

It has shown to me a lot more this year, as I dont really support any of them.

Hardly matters if the relationships are real or not, as long as it's a storyline in the house the production team will use it. JJJ is the biggest storyline this year so the production team are obviously gonna focus on it.

Well, I hate to say this but to be honest, this year's cast has been one of the weakest in 10 years: it has no substance, no real big personalities, people you can relate to, no action, no drama, no arguments, no parties...NOTHING. Therefore I can see why JJ and Josie take 99% of the HL shows because it's pretty much the only thing worth watchable.

Now we've got Sam who is a pain in the a$$ but he brings matter to the show (just like Charley/Grace/Bea was...). We still have Andrew who's a funny lad to watch.

I actually contacted Channel 4 and made this point several times as to the time JJames and Josie's sham of a romance was getting in reality on all BB broadcasting but particularly in the highlights, I also pointed out the rediculous puny punishments given to them both as opposed to others.

I got from Channel 4, the reply that BB was strictly regulated as to presentation of the housemates fairly and that all housemates got the same equal editing and content in programming.
After 3 replies like that I went back after my friends had done a stopwatch timing of a highlights programme whereby in a 70 minute programme, (with around 12 minutes break for adverts and start and end of the programme), that out of the remaining 58 minutes max, JJames and Josie and this romance whatever was on that programme for 37 of the 58 minutes.

Channel 4 have never disputed that timing,I asked them did they think we viewers were so stupid that we couldnt take a stop watch and time it for ourselves?
They just then came back again and said they were sorry I was angry but they welcomed comments on programming complimentary or otherwise.

I ended with well, if there are regulators for this series of BB then they are asleep for most of it and not doing their job.

Wombai, I totally understand your frustration and annoyance, you are absolutely right on all your counts,this is the worst ever BB for bias to only 1 or 2 housemates,I could almost be convinced someone of JJames family has a vested interest in the programme.

It is annoying its totally unfair and if someone else takes on BB like Channel 5 then I hope the first thing they do is sack the current BB production team who have made this series a farce.

This series should have been the very best of all the ideas of previous BBs and it should have been unmissable but this production of BB has been turned into a farce and is more like unwatchable than unmissable.

I think they have been biased at times with a number of the housemates - John James and Josie have had there share of negativity from the producers also. I think they have been just as biased in the favour of Mario and when Ben was in there to. It is a game show and BB are in control - that has always been the case since day 1, we just have a different breed of contestants now. They cant control the public vote and John James has been up 3 or 4 times now and he is still there - thats not the producers fault.

This series is going out with a bang of sorts - a bang of hugh disappointed and frustration by the viewers over what a biased load of rubbish it turned out to be! They will take their profits (our money) and run!

BB producers CAN control thr public vote to a degree whereby what they show as highlights and also in all other boradcasting too.

Push a message long enough even if its wrong like this daft false romance, then eventually someone will believe it is true or possible,what then happens is maximum coverage on one happening overrides and obliterates much of all else that is happening.

Its actually the very easiest form of manipulating the public votes,and how they vote,its an art,politicians do it all the time but when the people voting are paying to VOTE then to make those votes credible and valid the programmers are duty bound to have to match that and ensure what we see and ALL its content is planned with total fairness and integrity.

JJJ as you correctly said is the biggest story of this year but the thing is it was the producers who created this storyline in the first place. Before the first wave of new HMs entered the house and told JJJ about BB focusing on the "will they won't they" speculation there was nothing other than a lot of strange stalker activity from Josie. Since then, with the knowledge of what BB were showing they have perpetuated this flat-line fauxmance in order to carry them to the finish. The only palpable development of their relationship since that time being that JJ1 will now say "I love you" at the drop of a hat. It is a storyline designed to appeal primarily to the type of people who spend the most money on phone ins.

None of it is "real" any more anyway. Half of the Housemates are always "actors" or "models" with the sole intention of making a name for themselves that are picked through agencies. It was only a matter of time before the editing itself got a whole lot less real.

What seems to have been overlooked in this censure of BB manipulation is the fact that by perpetuating this fraud upon us, the viewers, they have taken our money by deception in the phone-in evictions. They have already determined who their winners will be, who will be punished for rule breaks, who will not etc etc, so is it just a cynical exploitation of what is seen as the most lucrative market (the tweenies) or, as PEJ has said, merely a soap opera and not a game show, with an agreed storyline (the fauxmance), the protected and favoured players (JJ&J) and the predictable outcome (the chosen winner of BB by the producers, not the public)? If so, we should not be paying for the privilege of being so blatantly ripped off, not just financially, but also in terms of entertainment.

Personally - I have absolutely no sympathy for Josie!

Firstly - I think she is every bit as manipulative as him!

Secondly - She allows herself to be treated that way by her own behaviour (whatever her motives - sympathy vote) - she invites it by acting so desperate!

She is either playing a good game - or she lacks dignity and self-respect - or a bit of both!
