Scarlett.

Looks good, why are they all driving near a railway track anyway?
Scarlett.
27-09-2010, 11:58 PM
I think it's on a level crossing

I bet it's Paddy
I told you these soaps all copy one another.

I agree. I think Aaron will come close to losing Paddy and some realisation will finally kick in.

Because a national rail train hitting a van at a crossing is the exact same as a Manchester Metrolink crashing off a collapsed viaduct into a street

The TV mag says one dies.

I was reading a theory on DS that three of them get out of the van before the train hits it and that Aaron may have to choose between saving Paddy or Jackson. I have read one of them is left in a critical condition. I take it the TV mag did not say which of them dies then?

No, just the front says one does
Scarlett.

I bet Jackson dies then, could be wrong though

How many tears can poor Aaron shed though? :( But then I can't see them killing off a main character either....
Scarlett.
28-09-2010, 07:37 PM
I can't either xD
Kerry

TV mag inside says....
As the smoke clears, it is apparent one of them is more badly injured than the others. But whose life is left hanging in the balance.....?

Looks like the crash happens midweek cos Thursday says they deal with the aftermath
Callum

It's an hour long episode isn't it? Can't see them killing off Jackson seeing as they've just introduced Hazel as a main character
Kerry
28-09-2010, 07:48 PM
Yes an hour Wednesday and a split hour Thursday
Only one I can see leaving no impact (really) to storylines these days is Marlon (which would leave the Paddy/Rona eventual get together which is inevitable if you as me) but he's Paddy's double act and a main character. I'm sure we'd have heard if he was leaving

"With an oncoming train fast approaching the dazed driver struggles to focus on the bright lights ahead of him only to realise too late that he's staring death right in face as an approaching train careers into the upturned vehicle.
An Emmerdale spokesman said: 'This is an incredibly dramatic episode and is the start of one of the most emotional stories we'll ever tell.
'In a tragic turn of events, it will bring together four of our most cherished characters for a gripping and poignant hour-long special which will leave viewers with their hearts in their mouths.'"
Maybe Jackson is left in a critical condition after Aaron saves Paddy?

You would automatically assume that Jackson was driving the van, but then anyone of them could be if he had a drink. But then...

"Jackson sticks to the orange juice as he's driving, sensible boy...."
From what I read, Jackson is definitely driving when it happens.
Kerry

Yes, Jackson is driving. They decide to save on the taxi fair

I read somewhere else that Jackson was going to be in a long term 'tug of war/love' with Aaron, maybe it's just a close call with death for one of them.
The character that dies, might be the train driver..... Ha ha !! :D

Well you never know. You know how dramatic mags try and make things!

Annoying to say the least!
I remember reading that when the factory in Corrie was going up in flames, two characters were going to be killed off. Not in a million years did I think one of those was going to be Tony's cell mate.
They get you all excited and what do we do, we fall for it every time. I say 'we' but I mean me, I do enjoy reading good spoilers:D

I hope the train doesn't look really cringey, Emmerdale aren't exactly known for their CGI effects.

Jackson is going nowhere. He's just extended his contract to stay until at least Spring

I read this level crossing smash is just the catalyst for a huge storyline which will change a lot of lives in Emmerdale. Sounds interesting.
