I can't get to sleep after I have been on the laptop!
So.. I either watch tv, watch a film or read a book which tries to help me get to sleep :)
If I still can't sleep then I listen to my ipod or if I am feeling "in the mood" I masturbate.

Haven't done it in ages but love reading in a hot bubbly bath. I watch Columbo or Poirot if I just want to veg at the telly for awhile if I don't have a film or documentary that needs to be watched.

Lol. Yeah.. I am sure plenty of women do it too! I do "get some" but like.. I am not living with my boyfriend so when I am sleeping on my own and if I am in the mood then well.. I like to steam up and then it sometimes helps me go to sleep :)
Anyways I am off now!

Well I'd say Patrick gave the best idea, lol.
Try listening some relaxing music (the easy listening thread has some good relaxing stuff), burn an incense stick and write some poetry or a story, or what ever comes to mind.

I usually do that but I tend to wander back to reality and find I've read a page and not taken a single word in

Sometimes I doodle to unwind and if they end up looking ok I get to use them for my work and its a bonus LOL.
Listen to recordings of people with relaxing voices talking; massage videos are quite good for it, also recordings of people whispering just talking about anything at all.
Have you not got a guitar? all I gotta do is look at mine & I'm chilled :]

The rain is an amazing sound. So is the ocean. I used to live right by it and just listen to the waves and watch the thunderstorms out at sea.

Jess what the hell is that doing in your sig? (Not Thomas I mean the quotes)
I read, listen to music, go for a walk, cuddle my dog to relax. One thing that never has worked for me is soaking in the bath, I find it makes me more uptight if anything.
Stacey.

Sleep. It's like the only thing that properly works. Like you can go to bed really annoyed and in a right bad mood, and as soon as you wake up, you feel good again.
Jessica.
