Scenes backstage at the Z Factor took a sizzling new turn last night after singer Mary Byrne was caught in the act - with DIVA FEVER.

The twosome, who survived elimination last night against Cher Lloyd, were heard MOANING from downstairs whilst Mary sang "At Last" by Etta James.

OUCH, someone isn't happy. Z Factor judge MATTALIE IMBRUGLIA is plotting against her fellow panel members after losing TWO acts in one show.

Most of her fury surrounds AIDEN GRIMSHAW, who lost the sing-off to Joey Walsh girl group Belle Amie. A Daily Sh*t reporter overheard a shockingly out-of-character Imbruglia in her dressing room as she vented her anger to her assistants.

"Of course I'd like to have Marlon too, but who the ****** are those twats to save BELLE A-******ING-ME over Aiden? They're ******ing off their ******ing trollies. It's on. I ain't taking this lieing down," she exclaimed. "Just 'cos that miming bitch lost her mini-me. What a ******ing liberty."
