You're as bad as me
I've cried at all the deaths on Corrie though pretty much, Vera's, Mike Baldwin's, Liam's and Alma's were the worst though :bawling:
Have grown up watching Jack and Vera, it won't be the same without him.

Even my OH said he'll shed a tear for Jack and he's so un-emotional it's untrue!
Scarlett.

I love how Corrie legends all seem to die naturally, it's more respectful

Awww he is such an institution though, like part of the fixtures and fittings! I hope they're not going to kill any more of the oldies off in the tram crash, they need to keep that balance of old and young I think :)
Kerry

Can't see it. Though did you see Barbara Knox on The Paul O'Grady show on Friday? She seemed to be saying goodbye
Scarlett.
07-11-2010, 11:25 PM
Aye, tonight, I hope he gets silent credits - Mike and Alma did, but Vera didn't

Yeah I thought it was a bit strange the timing when she hasn't done an interview in so many years :(
I thought Jack was going to die around Christmas, they usually like to have us crying into our dinners in soapland
Kerry

Yeah I thought the same Kerry about Barbera Knox on Paul O'Grady. Hope she doesn't die in the tram crash, what a nasty ending for such a legend and plus Corrie wouldn't be the same without Rita in the Kabin. :(

When does the tram crash actually happen? I'm sure that's meant to be sometime in December isn't it? And we're getting a live episode as well to do with the aftermath?
Scarlett.
07-11-2010, 11:34 PM
Tram crash is 6th Decemeber, live episode is 9th December
I think they will fool us into thinking Rita is dead (like they did with Ena)

Ooooh I thought it was a lot nearer to Christmas than that, hmmm I wonder what they'll have in store for the Crimbo day episode then because there's normally some big storyline to get people tuning in.
Scarlett.
07-11-2010, 11:39 PM
Nah, the anniversary is on that week :p
There's some filming pics in a graveyard that say they're 'Christmas special' pics, but I don't think they will be, it'd be a bit morbid to bury people on Christmas day
Kerry

The main reason that Barbara Knox was on The Paul O'Grady show was because she was in London for a couple of days after being awarded an MBE at Buckingham Palace (along with Eileen Derbyshire). Paul is a huge Corrie fan so she agreed to go on his show... There are a lot of Corrie stars doing the rounds on TV shows at the mo to help publicise the 50th anniversary...( Norris & Mary were on Alan Titsh*t the other day too...) So I don't think they will kill Rita off.
I'm looking forward to this, its going to be really sad :(
I miss Vera (and Blanche too for that matter)
Vera was exactly the same as my nana in every way possible, same personality, same voice/accent, even the same hair! it was pretty scary so its always sad when shes on screen and this will be such a different but fitting exit
You're as bad as me

Same, some of my first Corrie memories were when they were running the pub :joker:
Corrie always deliver when it comes to death though, its always a lot more realistic than in Eastenders (even though a tram is set to hurtle down the street :joker:)
