Most of the people on the DS soap forum and a few from here complained that Bryan Kirkwood would turn Eastenders into Hollyoaks, for a start a lot of the older characters have a lot of screentime and he's got rid of some of the younger characters or recast some e.g Lucy and Ben.
If anything Eastenders needs a few characters of the 20-25 age in.
