I hate when snow starts to melt, but then it freezes all over...

I was trying to walk to School earlier, since my parents don't drive and I have no choice but to walk and I had to take really tiny steps because it was so slippy, but I fell nonetheless and bruised my leg.

After sitting on the floor for like 20 seconds in shock, I got up again and then IDK what happened but I fell again sort of backwards and managed to hit my head, and I was really shocked as to how much it hurt and burst into tears, so this dude is all coming over like "Are you okay? Do you need help?" and I'm like :conf: .

He told me to go home and tell someone, so I did and now my mum told me to stay here.

I was really scared I was going to slip trying to walk back, but I managed it. I had my Violin with me too so I guess it contributed to me not being able to balance well, but woah, ice is so scary.

What's the ice like for everyone else?

It fricking hurts, and I really want to sleep but hopefully it will feel better later ^-^. Is it icy there, Jess? I think I remember you saying it was snowing but I don't remember how bad you said it was. :(

:joker: I haven't looked outside and I don't want to get out of bed to check. Google says it's -5°C so i guess it is probably icy.

all we've had is ice, no snow at all, it's horrible having to drive on it

Near me there is no ice on the roads (well the odd patch of black ice but thats about it) yet most people still insist on driving 15-20mph as though they're in heavy snow. I feel like a right boy racer when I takeover only doing 30

Falling in deep snow isn't too bad. Falling onto frozen snow that has 'peaks' because of people about etc..... it's really dangerous.

Driving in some of these conditions is nothing less than horrendous - and if you black ice, there's not a damn thing you can do but late fate takes its course.

Not good for pedestrians and drivers alike.
