How true. But neither does that negate the right to comment on the post/thread should you disagree with the thread or the topic. Otherwise any forum member could only ever contribute to a thread if they agree with it - which limits discussion or debate- which is the point of a forum, I'd have thought? :conf:

Katie Price for MUM of the year award. who else teaches their 'how to pose porno' so young.... how to avoid burning bathroom radiators through painful personal experience, how to apply make up and how to straighten ones curly hair.....she's passing on her trade to keep them in good fettle and keep the family business alive.

Yeah, there's no rule against posting Katie Price threads. I have no interest in the subject so wouldn't post in them, but I'm sure a lot of other people do.

What I don't get though about slagging off celebrities is we don't know what is really going on in their lives? What is presented to us in the media is small pieces of info. It is not enough to justify criticism, in my opinion. For all we know Katie Price is a good mother and deserving of an award.

You know James, what a great point you make.

The media is so fickle: one min they love you, the next they hate you - if it makes headlines enough to sell...that's all they are interested in. I may slag her because Personally I cannot stand the woman, but if she was such a bad mother, that would come over loud and clear via her children.

How many of us could cope with a child like Harvey for instance? She might have nannies and all the rest, but she has the finances to have that, but how often do you see her with Harvey.... often.

There's more to her than meets the very public eye... I might not like her, but as far as being mother is concerned:- I don't see her kids shying away from her in fear or terror.

And, if all goes according to plan, she could be legally separated from cage fighter Alex within two months.

The model is hoping for a quickie “no-fault divorce”, meaning neither party needs to give a reason for the split.

This avoids the drawn-out process of swapping evidence and is the quickest way to get the marriage over and done with – minus all the unpleasant arguments.

Well, she’s been down this road before.

In September 2009, Katie’s divorce from Peter Andre was granted in under a minute after both parties cited “unreasonable behaviour” in their petitions, stating that the marriage broke down “irretrievably”.

Granted a divorce in under a minute – she’ll have to act fast if she wants to beat that.

Whether that be via her own productions, her own products, her own businesses, her tv reality shows, her books, and the media interception.

Let's be brutally frank here Omah. If Katie didn't leave herself wide open to such continual public viewing: you'd be pretty stumped in the 'what to post about next stakes'.

If it wasn't for KP, you personally would have to find another target to constantly report on, and critisise.

Refreshing !!, Far from anything being refreshing as to her she is as sour as they come,there is nothing endearing about her at all as a person, she seems to have no loyalty and simply craves publicity, picking up any other fool or opportunist who wants to be seen on her arm for their five minutes of fame with her.

I wish the media would consign her to the showbusiness dustbin where she belongs for goodness sake and maybe that will make her see the errors of her ways and also take away the delusion she is important in any way.

They currently share joint custody so she can't just up sticks and take the children abroad. If she wants to take the children to live in the USA, she would need his consent, and I believe he can get a court order to prevent her taking the children out of the country.

If she wants to spend her life whoring around, and falling out of nightclubs, why does she need her kids to be involved in all that? Oh wait, of course, all those lucrative magazine deals and staged photo shoots to portray herself as a wonderful mother:bored:

The day out came after Kate, who is divorcing second husband Alex Reid, 35, criticised Pete, 38, for featuring their kids in his own ITV2 reality show.

After their outing, Jordan posted a series of messages about Argentinian model Leandro on her Twitter page, in Spanish. Katie, 32, rubbished claims that the dad-of-one had already tired of their romance.

Her Tweets translated as: “Leandro Penna is very transparent and mature. It has a fantastic family and everything together. I’ll soon know.”

Katie Price kicked off a brand new series with an episode every bit as pointless and hard to follow as you’d expect.

How on earth is this woman still peddling out reality series? Why on earth is anyone still commissioning them?

In tonight’s Katie, we watched our eponymous anti-heroine as she swanned around her country home like a glittery bionic woman, henpecking husband-du-jour Alex Reid and signing risqué calendars for nine-year-olds.

The programme was badly edited and poorly planned, even by the celebrity fly-on-the-wall documentary genre’s standards. Pointless item followed pointless item, with little coherence or definition to any of it. There was a bit about pole-dancing, a bit about slutty Santa outfits, a bit about airports and a bit about hairdressers.

It was a big messy pot of meaninglessness bubbling away for an hour.

But if anyone watched this episode and concluded that Price is just a moron who surrounds herself with other morons, remember this: someone paid her for this. Someone paid to follow her round for a few months so they could scramble some dodgy footage together.

The police force is currently facing the challenges of losing a fifth of its funding over the next four years.

But you would never know there was a crisis outside Katie Price's home in Surrey today, when no fewer than three police vehicles arrived to assist the reality star.

But it was far from the emergency situation it appeared to be as the squad cars lined up along the country road - in fact, they were called to deal with a small group of fans who had rang Price's doorbell asking for an autograph.

The over-attentive police unit raced to the scene despite there being no danger to the reality star - her large gates at the end of the driveway kept the eager fans well away from her home.

This isn't the first time the police have gallantly stepped up to assist Price in her time of need.

Last month they drew heavy criticism for forming a rolling road block to shield her from photographers on the A3.

Police confirmed that an investigation was launched after complaints by furious motorists who were left trailing behind during the delays caused by her VIP treatment in early February.

A report by the News of the World claimed the number of extensions Price has had applied, as well as numerous bleaches, have finally taken their toll.

She is rumoured to have spent approximately £50,000 on her locks in the last year, which included a significant period of treatment in the US.

Indeed, her spokesman confirmed: 'Katie has lost some hair after an unfortunate situation with a hairdresser in the States.'

Ofcom’s ruling around Frankie Boyle’s joke about the disabilities of Katie Price’s son Harvey, is expected to be announced this week, with Channel 4 expected to stand by its decision to broadcast the joke.

According to The Times, sources have claimed the broadcaster will defend broadcasting the joke, in which the Scottish comedian said that former glamour model price had married a cage fighter to ward off sexual advances from her son, who suffers from septo-optic dysplasia.

Comedian Frankie Boyle and Channel 4 have been censured by media regulator Ofcom for broadcasting offensive jokes about Katie Price and her son Harvey.

Ofcom upheld 500 complaints about Boyle's jokes, broadcast in December.

Ofcom said they appeared to "target and mock the mental and physical disabilities" of the eight year-old.

Channel 4 said it had a job to "champion pioneering and distinctive voices in British comedy and bring them to a wider audience".

But the regulator ruled that it was "an erroneous decision on a matter of editorial judgement on the broadcaster's part".

I agree. Some stuff should be off limits when it comes to jokes with some of those so called comedians. If they can't get their laughs without stooping so low, then they are in the wrong job imo. Some of them come across as more bitter in their acts than funny.

Yeah, I've got no argument with jokes about people who put themselves in the public eye, such as the appalling Jordan herself, but their families, particularly their children, deserve no such treatment, certainly not from those who appear to have their own issues that require attention .....

Ofcom said that any "intended satire in the two comments was ... obscured by their straightforward focus on Harvey Price and his disability."

It accepted that Price, Reid and Andre "have consciously exposed their and their children's lives to the media". But it said that this did not justify humour targeted at a child's expense, especially when the child is "as young as eight years old, and has a number of disabilities which are specifically focused on as the target of that intended humour".

They are expected to fly back out to Buenos Aires again next week before catching another plane straight to the city of Cordoba near Leandro's home town for the meet with his family.

Channel 4 Chief Executive David Abraham has written an open letter to Katie Price declaring that the broadcaster "never set out to offend" after she complained about jokes made by comedian Frankie Boyle regarding her disabled son Harvey.

Earlier this week the media regulator Ofcom ruled that Channel 4 had breached broadcasting guidelines as a result of Boyle's jokes. Following the ruling Price wrote to Mr Abraham telling him he must accept responsibility for the breach and for the offence caused by Boyle.

Mr Abraham replied: "I appreciate the very personal perspective to your letter and I would like to reassure you that we never set out to offend or cause distress to your son. As we made clear in our submission to Ofcom, our detailed internal commissioning process meant that we were satisfied that you and not your son, were the object of the satire."

The sheer arrogance of Abraham is astounding - Harvey's disabilities were offensively used in a televised "joke", regardless of whether the intended object of the so-called "satire" was Pricey, Reidy or Yorkie ..... :mad:

Katie Price has pulled out of this year's London Marathon, telling fans she has been advised not to run by doctors.

The 31-year-old only starting training for the gruelling 26-mile race two weeks ago, vowing to raise money for the Vision charity despite a nagging knee injury.

In a message on her website she didn't reveal the exact medical reason for her decision, further fuelling rumours she is in the early stages of pregnancy.

I know I shouldn't, but I do love reading your thread posts on 'What Katie did next', Omah :D She is so predictable and it just makes me laugh to read those oh so predictable latest media attention seeking things she does. She is a media trainwreck really, but her antics are so laughable, not with her but at her laughable. She is like a plastic walking Barbie. Her looks are already getting ridiculous with the weird mouth. She is getting no younger and soon her already waning looks will not be enough alone to sustain much interest in her. And all the pies she has her fingers in will not be enough if those projects start to fall by the wayside. Her PR seem to be working overtime at the moment.

The only ones I feel for in all of this are her children, who must miss out a little on not having the stability of a more staple family life, the way they seem to be shoved from pillar to post between her and Peter Andre, and the helps. It's surely about time Katie Price grew up and took more responsibility for her life actions.

The point that seems to be missing is this: as long as people continue to show an interest in her - she will continue to sell newspapers, magazines and make the headlines.

If there was no response, no judgment either way - good or bad, for or against her:- interest would wane and she'd eventually fade away.

As long as she illicits some response - whether by way of mocking or criticising her or by fawning and adoring her - she will still stroke interest.

If everyone simply ignored the press she gets, if no one reacted at all...... she'd die away.

This type of thing continues to publicise her and as long as it continues, there is still clearly an interest in her - which has the effect of keeping her in the public eye.

So let's get this right here - the DS reports that the 2 horses came out of nowhere - yet the DM reports from the tow truck driver tells a different story.....that the horses were galloping in front on their 4x4 - and suddenly 'they' just went up in the air.

As for miracle being alive: no Katie, a car accident where you have some cuts on your hand, or whiplassh - isn't a miracle. What is a miracle is people surviving under tonnes of rubble, surviving being buried alive after earthquakes, babies being born very prematurely and surviving against the odds.

i never said i liked her and people should. im just saying people may aswell feel neutral. i dont hate her nor like her. i dont think her actions are sensible some of the time but they dont affect me directly so why should i let them indirectly affect me.

I'll expect your apology Iceman. If you read through the thread..... I was in fact NOT TELLING ANYONE WHAT TO DO. I was responding to Charlie's comment of she (KP) has done nothing personally to the majority of the people who hate her, she doesnt deserve the treatment she gets.

Rather than jump down my throat - how about reading what I wrote: it was Charlie who used the synopsis "KP has done nothing to you personally therefore we shouldn't speak negatively about her". - So I wasn't telling anyone to do anything, I was in fact, quoting the opinion that Charlie was putting over - and why I felt people should be able to say what they want about her - good or bad.

Perhaps if you weren't so quick to find fault, you'd have understood what I was meaning.

If you read your post (together with my previous post) it's clear why I made mention of your previous comments - it does come over that unless we have some personal gripe with KP - that you think (note: think....not telling) we shouldn't really say anything that slags her off as she's not hurt any of us in a personal sense. Isn't that what you are saying?

As for this being a Katie Price thread - didn't hear you making the same noises when you were banging on about KP fans bashing Big Brother - what's Big Brother got to do with KP? Nothing but it was okay for you to mention something that has nothing to do with KP or this thread. The only reason I mentioned any BB comparison was because you brought it up in the first place. ;)

However.... the example I gave, does it give you some idea of why some dislike her? She uses the press to deride Peter (ie: ref the kids and protecting them from publicity) - yet she does the very thing herself that she uses against Peter only weeks after making out that she had the kids best interest at heart - that faded away pretty quickly when she wanted the press to report and photograph her children having fun by her very new man.

She introduced the kids to Alex, weeks after Peter. Just when they were getting used to him - wham... he's gone and within a few short weeks, there's another man being introduced to them. That's one of the main reasons I feel she does deserve the negativity that she does. never can that type of behaviour be in the kids' best interest.

Don't get me wrong: she's pulled herself up by her bootlaces and ensured she's financially secure for the rest of her life: can't take that away from her

She seems very insecure, constantly needing reassurance, which goes a long way to explaining her need for the media attention. If she has admitted to the above in that news item then admitting to some insecurities she has is a step in the right direction. I would guess surely a little bit of counselling would not go amiss for her.

She looked so much better before all her surgeries too, such a pity she has ruined herself that way.

KATIE Price was furious last night after Channel 4 hinted it could offer vile comic Frankie Boyle a teatime spot.

TV bosses are considering replacing the axed Fern Britton show with the comedian who cracked sick jokes about Katie Price’s disabled eight-year-old son Harvey.

The news was confirmed by chief Jay Hunt, who said: “I would be perfectly happy to put him on screen again.”

But model Katie, 32, last night told pals: “Channel 4 are basically rewarding Frankie Boyle for being so vile about Harvey. It’s wrong.”

I'm with the abominable Katie on this one ..... :thumbs:

With Leo, 25, sticking around - for now - Katie, 32, is encouraging Junior and Princess to learn Spanish.

But that's infuriating their dad Peter Andre, who's teaching them Greek.

Perhaps the kids ought to learn Estuary English first ..... ;)

DESPERATE Katie Price's modelling career might be coming to an end but she's determined to stay in the industry by finding its new star.

Just what the world needs right now - yet another tedious "reality" show featuring vacuous wannabe "models" ..... :bored:

Laugh out loud comedy of the week... Sky Living mega flop Katie. Watching Jordan desperately failing to drum up interest in her dullsville affair with Argie non-entity Leandro was hilarious.

Especially when the frantic final episode of a truly disastrous series was swiftly followed by the axe. Her Travesty’s dreadful show is even more finished than she is.

Hair appointments, dental treatment, arriving late at airports... and what the narrator tellingly called her “paparazzi-fuelled lifestyle”. Who cares? No one, it transpires.

This is a good thing. It wasn't Katie its that channel thats the complete flop. Don't think they've had one good rating since it launched.

Put her back on ITV2 and her ratings will be back to what they were.

If true - I'm not surprised. There is a limit to how many times people are prepared to sit and watch someone get their hair dyed, getting their make up put on, taking it off, getting in and out of cars, complaining about their teeth, getting their expensive veneers repeatedly repaired, watching them trying on wigs, pretending to be scared of everything (water, needles, heights - but somehow managing to do whatever she can that involves these things). I think I watched 2 shows and it was like groundhog day.

Fly on wall reality shows are becoming outdated - there's very rarely anything in them worth watching.

IF JORDAN's reality show ever goes down the gurgler, she could get a part on The Only Way Is Essex.

In the early hours of this morning, she was at the Sugar Hut - the club where the TOWIE gang hang out - giving some uncomfortable PDAs with boyfriend LEANDRO PENNA.

The attention-seeking glamour model was joined by two orange mates, MICHELLE HEATON and star of the 'living reality' show, LAUREN POPE.

They must all have a good chat about their tanning routines.

Katie Price wore a frilly-edged pale top and black and white stripey skirt and Leandro wore a rather odd waistcoat, shirt and trousers combo.

I'm surprised he didn't get asked for the bill...
