Looking back at the series now i realise just how good it was but at the time all the events just seemed new and fresh from the first 2 series.The house divide and how BB just got on with being BB and how hard it was for them in the house.They had no rea problem with noms either they just got on with it unlike the pandered lot of later years.Hope you are listening and reading C5,bring back BB but please no more duvet hugging pandered housemates just hard game playing for us the viewer and put the reality back into the reality show which is the best.

Yeah day 20 is pretty poo but i like how BB doesnt step in and change the dynamic they just leave the mood in the house as it is and left the group get on with the day.

It gives you a true reflection of whats actually happening in the house and not some set up pantomime

But yeah there are a few days in bb3 where the housemates literally are crying with boredom lol

Lol I'd want the new HM to live on the poor side if it means more food for me tbh. Adele's hanging around with Alex a bit more. Maybe she sees him as the next Lee and he sees her as the next Sandy? Either way it's not good.

How the hell did Alex include weights and still think it was within budget? Btw Tim looks traumatised to be there lol. He's thinking "I've made a huge mistake."

Of course we're now in the week were even Alex admitted the editing was biased towards him.

Adele had been starting her nastiness, but wasn't shown as most of it was in discussion with Sibley. A whole bunch of HMs kept on saying how they wanted Spencer to stay, which was totally ignored by the editors, yet all good points for Alex was shown.

I still love how Sibley goes on about how he fancies Adele, yet when he left the house he said there was more chance of him becoming president of the USA then going out with Adele.

Spencer would of been kept in nowadays, because of the romance with Kate, which they actually seemed to want to break up then. I hated that at the time, but in retrospect it was brilliant that they didn't obsess with romances.

It's kicking off again. She was funny to watch but Jade is very immature still and I think she knows she's wrong but she's too stubborn to admit it. Silly Tim, shouldn't be talking about 'the outside'.

Lol at Alex's monotone voice again: "My toothbrush is coming towards the end of its life." Tit. And lol at Spencer talking to Jade: "You were just completely unreasonable to every single person. Adele and Alex looked alright together just then. And THAT look as he swivelled his chair lol. It's good to hear Kate does actually like Alex despite their arguments. I think Sandy was a bit of a bad influence on him tbh.

Spencer and Kate would make a good couple. So would Tim and Alex after that arse kissing. Lol at Kate: "Down it! Down it! Down it!" I would. Kate, Spencer and Jonny breaking in to the rich side is classic. I am creasing up watching that angle in the kitchen lol.

Aww, bye Spencer. Guess that BB bonk won't be happening until BB starts to dip and the producers do some sh!tty teen spin-off series or something. Or get some A-level student and some porn addict Geordie and see what they do with a table... Lol at Spencer crossing the divide again.

Day 29/30 HLs

Lol that the first thing Alex notices in the morning is the wine's missing. Tim pulls some strange faces when he's concentrating on his hair. I do like the psychologist shows - didn't I once say Alex was quite feral? Wow, Spencer once slept 4 times during the day on 1 particular day. And lol at: "He imagines himself attacking Alex with his sausage!

I still think people vilify Jonny too much. He's just a happy chappy. Jade is becoming more of a bitch tbh. And it's not wise for Tim to be bitching about Sophie. He might be making himself popular with the rich HMs but not the public.

That psychologist segment wasn't great for Adele. I think she can be whiney at times like when she was paranoid about Alison or when she was anti-Lee but I thought she was otherwise a nice person and still entertaining. It just implies she's totally aware and the biggest game player. Lol I'm gonna have nightmares of Alex hiding places. Creepy tit.

Tim: "Well, sod that for a game of soldiers." Maybe it's a class thing but he comes across as delusional as Sandy. Good to see Kate doesn't hold a grudge against Alex after the first few weeks and that she wants to get to know Tim. Lol musical chairs - the tasks are sh!t. Jade's being a bit clingy with PJ again. If I were him I'd be a bit annoyed. Lmao Jade's got the horn for Tim and there he is doing that face again. Like I said Jade is being a bitch but at least she's saying it's hard that 1 minute you'd be talking to someone in there and the next you'd dislike them and talk about them to someone else.

Lol at Kate: "Alex you perv!" and Jade: "That's a point actually - everyone perved over Kate. No one perved over me. Not that I wanted to be perved over." And they're bitching about Sophie again. Lol at the word association game starting with 'verucca'. I like Kate a lot but I can see why people might have been a bit sympathetic towards her with Alison and then Spencer going and Kate always being on the poor side. I like that Jonny's bringing more energy out of Sophie because she's not really done much since Lee left and even then she was only with him.

Ha, even when Kate's upset she manages to splutter and say "Attractive." I think she's my favourite atm but all of them are still entertaining and likeable in their own ways tbh - even Tim. I don't think Sophie deserves the rich side bitching about her like that. Jade and Adele are comign across as nasty now and I'm surprised at PJ joining in.

Here's where Adele's going the wrong way because she says she likes Sophie but she's not sticking up for her, she's just joining in.

Maybe its how they're reacting in the house, like how HMs say the smallest things can be overdramatised, but they should drop it already.

Is Kate coming across as a peace keeper or a sh!t stirrer by getting involved? I believe she does like Sophie and thinks Tim and Jade are being unfair, but she's beginning to question Sophie's friendship herself now.

Everyone is talking about Jade and they all agree the Sophie thing's blown out of proportion and that she's changed. It's as if BB created a monster. At least they're all aware of her.

Davina's in the DR again! That small edit of Jonny made me realise he has really died down in the last few eps. I still don't think he's fake, it's just he's been there a few weeks so naturally he's a bit bored now.

I'm glad Sophie and Jade are speaking before the eviction and as much as I said I wanted Sophie to confront them she's doing it in a dignified way. She's not yelling at Jade whilst Jade's already crying, she's just talking to her and kinda being sympathetic to Jade. Sophie love :love:

That's when the crowd really mattered and weren't just a mob of people that boo all the time. Even then the interviews are still longer and better, and Davina has time to tease what's in store for the HMs in the next week. The eviction nights got through quite a lot but still don't really seem rushed or messy.

Ooh, I never noticed the 'Get so-and-so out!' chants until Grace in BB7 but the crowd are actually chanting "Get Jade out!" Hmm.

* OMG Sophie was different in her audition VT. I'm glad from BB6 newbies got the same treatment as original HMs with the live crowd and the audition VTs. *

Lol Sophie was like "WTF!?!" to that vid of Lee. It wasn't really clear tbh, it was like an isolated pervy video just for her after Davina said he still wasn't single lol. Davina might as well have said "He's still with Carmen but he made you this video just for those horny nights by yourself" :D

I guess the producers didn't want to take their chances on another BB4. IMO BB5, CBB3, BB6 and CBB4 were amazing series and the last great series with brilliant twists, tasks, houses and HMs before it become overblown. BB7 started off great but became hideously dull towards the end and then contrived when Nikki was thrown back in and we all know what happened in CBB5. BB10 was the first series in a long time where the dramas unfolded naturally (because the house, tasks and twists were so awful) and BB11 would have been better if BB hadn't interfered with arguments but the BB11 tasks, costumed or not, were brilliant and helped make it fun

I think I like this task. It could be a bit more dramatic but the stakes are high if it means the end of the divide and it looks liek a hard quiz.

Glad you're another Jonny fan and you also don't get why Davina dislikes Tim so much. Alex is indeed amazing - for a tit. I think with Jade it's because she was the youngest Hm at the time so she became the 'BB princess' and the public started to feel sorry for her after some of her 'mates' spoke about her to the press and Graham Norton ripped the p!ss out of her every single night on his show lol. That and because 1 minute she'd be funny and/or annoying. That week where she was mean to Sophie she became too nasty though.

Oh I never said we were mates, especially after he told me that lol. I completely agree with what you said about the post-BB7 HMs and all the BB3 HMs that have already gone. I would rather see an dhear from the older HMs rather than the newer ones and that's why it's good when they do rarely step out and speak. One of the problems with BBLB and BBBM was the overexposure of the OTT HMs who kept coming back and for strange videos or in costumes like Kathreya, Brian Belo, Nikki, Rodrigo etc. It became a farce whereas if BBLB got hold of Kate Lawler it'd be a more respectable interview. You'd actually want to know what she has to say and how she'd compare her experience.

I'm wondering what you'll make of BB1, 2 and 4 after this. I watched some of 1 and 2 but didn't start properly til BB3. I still like bits of BB4 and a lot more now then I did at the time and BB2 I thought was excellent, in some areas probably better than BB3 e.g. the tasks and house. Dan said he liked how 'raw' BB1 was.

Kate is still working at Kerrang, been there a number of years now. Apparently she did try to come down in some way for UBB, for a day-task or something but with Kerrang being based in Brum, and her djing in clubs around the country at weekends, they couldn't work out a time.

BB3, my fave series, but your right some episodes were dull, very often it was because they got so drunk one day, that come the next day tyhey were all hungover to ****. I could relate myself. Often on the drunken days there was enough action to fill about four episodes though.

I remember thinking the BB3 house was amazing but tbh it's quite plain and dull. Still like how large it is, the garden and the large kitchen but the bedrooms are just awful - look at the rich side carpet. Sheesh, what a mess. BB2's still is amazing.

Btw re: whether you should see BB4, yes! It does have a lot of dull days and I do sometimes compare it to watching a leaf wither and turn brown BUT here's the good points:

* The house was really nice that year.
* The reward room was great. The HMs really put effort in to the live tasks to win a place in the reward room and it lead to some good nights esp drunken leprechaun orgy night.
* The weekly tasks were better than BB3's because whilst the BB3 weekly tasks are the live ones, the BB4 ones went back to lasting several days.
* Some of the HMs that were out first were good and would have been better if they lasted longer e.g. flirty Anouska, moody Justine, eternal task-failing Federico (LMAO that he even failed his BB10 task), and fiery Sissy who got stroppy about a lack of 'shoogeh!' (Sugar to you and me). Jon Tickle, Lisa/'finger lady', Tania and Ray were worth watching.
* It had the most twists out of the first 4 series. First night nominations, reward room, first double eviction, the Africa swap, first time an ex HM was sent back in.

It definately had its moments but overall could have been better. Tbh It probably only needed a different eviction order and it could have been saved

Ha, Davina's trying to warm the crowd to Adele by saying at least Adele was entertaining. Oh wow, a special guest appearance from Jade's mum Jackiey. She looks out of her mind here.

I used to love how fast paced the evictions were. Davina running to the house and dragging the housemate through the crowd.

I don't mind the grabbing of the arm but it's strange to think that so much happened in earlier evictions like asking questions to some of the crowd, reading a few of the banners, watching the footage of tghe last hour, dragging the HM, interacting with the crowd yet again, teasing what's in store for the week ahead and yet the eviction interviews still manage to have a lot in them. I wish some of these elements came back and maybe it'd calm the crowd down because otherwise they're just there for background panto noise

Day 43 and 44 HLs

I love finding out what dreams mean esp if they're random like the one Spencer had about beating Alex with his sausage. I have way too many strange dreams that all seem to make sense afterwards.

OMG the rain is immense! And I still want the chickens to make a comeback for BB12. ;)

Jade's gonna be punished yet again. I completely forgot she wasn't allowed to cross the divide when it was live. Lol at Big Brother: "Alex, Big Brother does not expect you to be a professional chicken dryer." Imagine having to deal with him every day without laughing or losing your mind.

I thought the rest of the HMs knew about Adele's bisexuality? So they must've assumed it was a 100% hetrosexual house then. No idea why BB4 was. I also did not know the divide only lasted 27 days! It seemed so much longer.

This psychologist bit isn't painting a good pic of Tim. I knew he groomed himself a lot and that he was becomming a bit two faced but didn't think they were connected. Goodbye sweet divide, see you again in 2008. And oh this is such a good twist - entertaining and still a social experiment. It probably doesn't make for a great live task though tbh because it's over and done pretty quickly but still - Which ones fear eviction the most? Which ones are homesick the most? And which ones will face the public vote? Mwahahaha :D

So it's Kate vs PJ. I like them both but I want Kate to stay. Lol at how they're both teary. Part of me dislikes when the HMs get their messages from home because they become real saps and part of me wonders if the pressure makes everyone crack. I like Tim but the psychs were right, he doesn't want to be controlled and that's when he becomes a bit of a tit and I think that's why Davina said she didn't like him. LOL at his face as soon as BB asks for the drinks back. Awkward.

That house is so big. They don't make 'em like they used to.

Will watch the next ones tomorrow cos gotta be up early. :(

Jade, Kate and PJ are all in the pool! The Live Feeders haven't had this excitement since the days of Sandy. Jade is still the group's main target and they all seem frustrated they can't nominate her this week. Does Tim realise his chances of winning are slim? That very quote makes him seme ungrateful for the whole BB experience. We don't need his sort. Still better than Sandy though.

LOL at Alex: "When I first came in, in the first week, everyone was saying 'Alex, you never fart'" and "I think you should". Tit. Ooh err, what are they doing in that bed? Have we missed 'Follow the Van'? I don't recall seeing it in the HLs. Lol at Jade's pillow mess. Further lol at Kate and PJ's exit walks. I don't really want either of them to go, but Kate's my winner :)

Haha, what a mess in the bedroom. I really hope the BB12 bunch are allowed lots of alcohol like they got in BB3. Eurgh, PJ's eviction shirt is hideous.

Tim's becomming more of a disillusioned twit. "I already know I'm in the final week and the chances are I'll last until the last 2 or 3 because if the public pick any of a couple of these idiots to win then they're mad." (I think that's what he says at the end.)

I'm glad someone's confronted Jade about being two faced but I think PJ got a bit OTT. I suppose anyone would with Jade though because she did raise her voice to defend herself before listening to him.

I could not be dealing with a masters/servants task after that much alcohol. I wonder what Alex said to Kate and how he said it. It would have made good HL material by the sounds of it.

Lol at Alex in the DR: "****** off!" He seems more likable without Sandy and now without Adele there. He's actually integrating with the rest of the group and having a laugh. Tim's taken his place as the one frowning at everyone else's behaviour.

Jonny appears to have his mojo back. Loving his commentary: "Katie straddles ALex and slowly starts caressing his flesh on his back." And the cucumber lol.

Tim: "She puts herself out a bit." Hardly. It's like she said to Jonny, she's not been as flirty as either Jade or Adele since about week 1. Ahaha at the trolley fall. Alex keeps falling over or harming Kate all of a sudden. Tim's quickly becomming my least favourite current HM atm with his attitude.

Day 48

Sheesh, Tim's grooming himself again. You can tell it's gonna be a boring ep when the teaser just has PJ askign Tim if he dyes his hair. I'm no hair expert but I think Tim's hair is a bit too dark and LMAO at the idea of him bleaching it. I can't stand when guys bleach their hair.

I like that Jonny's comforting Jade and I think she's regretting being two faced because she is still quite naive and probably missing home. One of my all tiem fave quotes: "Tactickles or Tic Tacs or whatever they're called. I don't even know what they mean, how can I f**in' play 'em?" And Jonny laughing at her: "Tic Tacs! Are you tic-tactical?" Lol.

Strawberries and champagne. I'd wanna be on that. And bless Tim. Current least favourite but still... :(

Lol I think that's one of the things I hated at the time - how messy and tedious the tasks were but I'm enjoying them now. If I were a HM I'd still rather have the ready-made puppets like in BB11 than have to make one akin to BB3. I'd probably get fed up and stressed.

I'm sure there was a lot more coverage of Follow the Van so perhaps that was just on BBLB or LF. Or perhaps it was uncut and I got confised between what actually was shown and what wasn't on my BB3 DVD.

Apparently Dan or Patrick have said somewhere it's BB6 next but don't hold me to that. I never watched all of BB2 though so I'd love to find that some time as the bits I have seen are amazing :D

Eviction part 1 - Day 49 HLs

Whenever Davina enters the hosue she's like a mischievious little elf. Each time I was just hoping for her to get caught. I'm gonna reiterate that it's good that whenever the HMs argue they eventually bond again unlike later years where divisions pretty much stayed.

Lol at how soppy/emotional Alex is getting over a frog. Lol "Can we have some frog food, please?" "What for, Alex?" "We've got a frog." Tit. PJ's clearly jealous he didn't play Follow the Van first. And lol at the sight of Jade with her teddy and her toilet roll, and again with Alex's montone "You've got cling-film round your bo-dy?!?!" :)

Yeah, PJ did talk about sex a lot. And glad he's not wearing that shirt. "We love Avid. He is warm" Lol. And Davina: "PJ knows he's gonan get laid." This eviction is a comedy.

"I've liked being here and I'm glad I have got here but I know I'll never do it again." - Jade, soon to be starring in Back to Reality, Big Brother Panto, Celebrity Big Brother 2007 and Bigg Boss.

Eurgh, scabs. I kind of feel sympathetic toward Tim because he watched how the other HMs were without the divide but hasn't experienced it until now and it has changed their behaviour. Alex really has had to change since Sandy and Adele left in order to fit in.

I think Jade did actually like PJ quite a bit. She seemed devestated when Spencer left but this time she just seems to be quiet like she's still taking it in. Now I'm watching that psychologist bit and I dislike it when HMs cry because they often come across as annoying like Shell in BB5 or Nikki in BB7. I understand that people can be homesick or that things might escalate in the house but do these people not consider that before they go on the show?

This is the only time I'm questioning how genuine Jonny is because I also disliek when HMs think of walking. He's considered the biggest BB fan out of all the HMs in there but he's also underestimated how hard it is? Maybe because this is still one of the earlier series he was just naive and thought he knew what he was in for, maybe he's being serious in the DR. He's still one of my faves but I'd prefer Kate to win atm.

Lol, Alex is such a strange little man. I wish he'd been on Ultimate BB tbh. If the public are anti-Tim based on him being posh it is a bit unfair but it's probably because the last 2 HMs like him were machiavellian genius 'Nasty' Nick and BB2's winker extraordinaire Stuart. BB doesn't really represent posh people in a positive light although I did like BB11's Ben. Also, Tim's acting a bit like Sandy though which isn't helping matters.

I remember all these teen girls at school saying during week 1 "Alex and Kate are well gunna have sex! You just know they propper fancy each other." Obviously a bit of an overdramatisation but we all agreed they'd be some sort of couple. It's funny how things turn out. Plus those 9 weeks seemed like a lifetime back then.

Lol at Jonny's picture of something that makes him feel happy. Again, not the most entertaining live task but it's alright for a HL episode. I thought Tim's self portrait looked more like Alex. And lol at Tim's reaction to Alex's nickname. :D

That was nice of Jonny to suggest Tim and for Tim to suggest Jonny. Still can't quite see why Davina said she disliked Tim most out of every HM. Maybe it was a spur of the moment comment. Obviously I had a lot to say about so it was a good one :)

Day 52

Lol at Jade's 'singing' if you can call it that and at Jade: "Tim, can Kate borrow your hair scissors to trim her minge?" This is why I would refuse to be involved with any cooking in the BB house - I'd just do the washign or something because people always get picky about what they eat.

Lol at Kate shaving and the codename 'Beckham'. Alex: "We all speak the English language. - Some of us better than others." He says he's grumpy and he's not the Alex from when he came in but I thought he was at his grumpiest within the first few weeks tbh. Lmao at Kate: "Look at my end! It's exactly the same as your end, you freak of nature!" :D

Lol I thought BB was gonna tell Jade off for causing the other HMs head aches and then the BB voice itself sounded like she had a cold lol. I liked in earlier series when it became more difficult to nominate. Hopefully BB12 will sort it out

And PJ is just a likeable normal bloke. He's not a big star of the series and there'd be days where he was hardly in the HLs but he still had his moments.

Day 53

Was Jade a natural blonde? I can see she's got dark roots and that she dyed it during BB3 but was she a dark blonde or a brunette? Slight confusion/feels like the time I found out Santa didn't exist or when I found out the T.A.T.U girls weren't actually lesbians.

Final nominations!

Alex - Jade and Jonny. LMAO about the urinating in the shower argument again. RE the puppet show task: "Apparently it wasn't a memorable event."
Jade - Tim "I don't have anything in common with him" and Alex "Alex tends to snap at me quite a bit". I think Alex has loosened up a bit tbh but he's still a bit uptight.
Jonny - Tim "He's been quite dull, really" and Alex.
Kate - Tim and Alex "He needs to lighten up a bit".
Tim - Jade. He'd have hated to hear her just shout "It's all looking ginger!" Lol. And Jonny.

So, Alex vs Tim. Both tits. Although I think Alex is more of a loose tit. Tim's a bit of a firm tit. Tim to go.

Christ, I hate bleached hair. If it doesn't go ginger it goes too light. Sometimes it's ok on a girl if they haven't got orange skin, but it's especially awful on guys.

Tim didn't need to say that to Jonny. I still believe Jonny just genuinely wanted to make Tim feel more at ease. If Jonny was really laying on too thick or if they'd just had an argument then Tim should've said that, but that wasn't the case. It is harsh he's heard his name shouted twice but I think he's just taking it out on Jonny for the sake of it there.

Hahahahaha, that's one of my all time favourite moments them hiding from Jade. Ok, she didn't look very hard but HMs could never do that in later series of BB cos all the later gardens were a lot smaller and more basic. I want a BB3/BB Aus style garden for BB12 :D

Day 54

Ooh, Tim's on the warpath with BB again lol. Ha, loving the roller disco room. This is the sort of all-nighter tasks you'd expect from BB.

Eurgh, Alex and Tim are moaning again. Why is it Tim gets a bad rep for being moany yet Alex is also a big moaner? I'd still rather Alex stay because he gets more involved with the group now but I certainly wouldn't want him to win because every now and then he slags the same people off.

Kate and Alex's chat made me realise how similar they are. Both of them had the people they bonded most with leave so it seems like they at least understand one another now even if they're still not the best of friends. Kate gets on more with Jonny, Alex gets on more with Tim and then there's Jade in the middle who causes the rest to bond either through laughing at her or bitching about her. But she was an integral part of bringing the 2 groups together. I think what makes Kate more likeable than Alex IMO is that she's more up for a laugh, and in a sympathetic way she struggled those weeks she was constantly on the poor side. Whereas he was on the rich side for most of it, and like I said, he still manages to moan about certain people lol.

I said I was loving the roller disco room but the music they're playing is off putting. If I go to a roller disco I expect pure cheesey dance music and lots of alcoholic drinks! :D

Face it, Tim. It was a no show. LOL at "Comprande!" Classic. During the build up for BB5 I kept leaving BB quotes on the white boards at school as like a subliminal message to any other students to watch the Live Launch. This was one of them haha. It's safe to say everyone was talking about BB5 at school come Monday. Back on topic, I hate when HMs know they've failed a task and they blatantly lie to the HMs about it like Tim's just done. Sam in BB6 was the worst complaining about that bandage on her leg for the hospital task. Silly mare.

Day 55

OMG I remember this ep, it is indeed awesome. I hate Tim's attitude that his aim was just to get on the show and I like that Kate thought he didn't want to be there. Lol at Kate shouting "I'm naked!", Alex chatting with the chickens again - the tit, and just the look of Tim in general.

Jade: "Horny! Horny! Horny Helga!", Kate: "You're sitting there putting your finger in your mouth!" and Alex: "Except when I play Follow the Van." LMAO and the door moment! More lol at Kate wearing the wig with Jonny on her lap in the DR and Alex: "I'm be able to masturbate. I'll be able to copulate. I'll be able to calculate." This episode is more like a sketch show than a drama... at the moment. :D

Oh sh!t, Alex is being honest. He's being a fool just because he's too drunk because being a dental nurse has nothing to do with it lol. But I think this is the most honest we've seen Alex and it's damn entertaining.

LOL at "Get out the Diary Room! I gotta talk to ya!" This argument has been amazing. Tim probably did wise to keep out of it but that could have been because he didn't want to face the wrath of Jade, Kate and Jonny. Alex proved exactly that he was there to play the game, it's just a bit of a pity he has to be drunk to be that honest. Jade has been hopping between the 2 groups and she is just drunk and naive yet again so she's making a bigger drama out of it than it needs to be. Jonny actually lost his cool! He finally shouted at someone but I think it's because he hasn't shown this side before that he might come across as fake. I'm glad Alex is saying he still needs to think about things and he's not just saying "Oh well, it's the final week, we were all drunk." There's still time for that but again, he's being honest though. It must be hard for her but Jade is dwelling on it again.

There we go, Alex and Jade are putting it on the table. Tim does sound a bit ungrateful here. Perhaps he should have considered the show a lot more before signing up for it? OMG Big Brother sounds too human there with her "Only if you need one" remark whilst sniggering. Lol at how confused they are about Davina's "Comprande". I hope the BB3 lot are still in touch after seeing Alex give Tim his number. I think Jonny invited Kate, Alison and Anouska from BB4 to his wedding but not entirely sure.

Days 57 and 58

Lol at BB: "Alex, if you do go this evening is there anythign that you would miss about life in the Big Brother house?" Alex: "No. ...The chickens." Again, bring them back for BB12! Ha, I think it's true in any case that you are your own best friend and your own worst enemy. Alex, certainly so. LOL again at that clip of him drunk in the bathroom.

One thing I love about this series is the Eastenders impressions. Like Spencer's Trevor impression in his audition VT "Ello Darrrlin'!" and Kate's impression of Frank lol. Didn't even remember the Pauline Fowler one when it first aired but it's creasing me up now. "Arfa! Arfa!" And ahahahaha at Jade splitting her trousers.

Omg what is Jade on? I think that psychologist edit was quite fair on Jade because she has been two faced but she does also admit the truth some of the time. No one's perfect and at least they leave that section by saying it's up to the public how you judge her. Bring the psychologists back as well!

Oh, this one's a bit of a bad edit for Jonny tbh. I still think the lines are blurred between when he's being 'fake'/aware of the cameras and what he's genuinely like on the outside. He is more aware of the cameras than Kate and that's one of the reasons why I think she's the more natural one of the 2 but I still like Jonny.

Alex: "I once heard a sheep say '****** off''." Alright then lol. BB doesn't really come across as too robotic at times in this series, more like a patronising school teacher or guidence councillor. I'm glad that changed tbh. I don't think that was a great edit on Kate's part. She's had a fair few tears and that but she just cracks on with it and has a laugh the next minute. Maybe I'mbeign biased but I didn't liek in later series the idea that someone has to win because of the 'journey' they went on. Kate's 'journey' was that after her friends went she was stuck on the poor side for weeks but just got on with it which i like, whereas with say Glyn in BB7 it was all about him becomming more vocal and confident and less in the background and more grown up or whatever - and I hated that. It was too soppy and I still didn't really take to him.

Hmm, that task was pretty funny but I think it was a combined effort of the HMs' reactions and the edit of the vid itself. I didn't really like when BB10 copied that task but then again the tasks in BB3 weren't that great.

LMAO at Kate's reaction to Jade: "You reckon he's fit in to a suitcase?" I know Alex is slim but he's not that bloody slim lol. He is the master of hiding places though what with the door earlier in the week as well. I wish he'd have been on UBB :(

Ahahahahaha at their latest game. We need more moments like that. "That weren't my van. That was my man." Legendary.

Day 59

They all look so rough this morning. LMAO it's great how big that house is that they can hide in so many places. I think a lot of HMs tend to act like Alex in that they might not necessarily like some of the people they have to live with and they still have the occasional clash but they're pretty much forced to interact with them and act more like them once their own allies leave. Imogen was the same in BB7 because she was friends with Grace to begin with but ended up siding with Aisleyne.

Another Jadeism: "Portuganese" Lol. Eurgh at Jade popping her spots. I was eating pizza and wasn't prepared for that. Lol at the Pat and Frank impressions again and Jonny saying "Ya buncha' mugs!". And hahaha at Alex: "She looks like a ******ing elephant." This is the best final 4 ever I think. BB5's was ok apart from Shell. :crazy:

Day 60

Ha that teaser with the dummy was freaky. Christ, Alex must be going insane being up for 5 hours. He probably spoke to the chickens though - that's normal. Omg at all the champagbe bottles. I wish I was there.

LOL at Jonny's advice for the BB4 lot to think before they open their mouths. Did some of them even have mouths? :D

That dummy is hideous. Whenever Alex and Kate play they get vicious. There was that time she fell off the sofa, when they were in the trolley, that recent game of Follow the Van and now he's just tackled her to the floor lol. I like that Alex bitches about Jonny impresonating Marcus Bentley and then the first thing Jonny does when he sees Jade is do the impression again. And now Jade and Jonny are singing just after he's vommited lol.

This is the most wasted they have been lol. I could understand BB worrying if a HM gets that level of drunk but it definately became too tame in BB11.

Day 61

Kate and Jonny's hangovers must be immense. Imagine hearing Alex play that damn accordion at 10 in the morning. I'd want to beat him with it lol. Eurgh at the puke puddle. Oh no! He's actually playing it in the bedroom. The tit!

That is a big spring onion tbh. Just saying. Jade: "Spring onion record people will get in touch with us" - I bet there are actually people like that out there lol.

This seaside show is as sh!t as the real ones. There's something about accordians and ventriloquists (and donkey rides) I don't like. I'd rather a seaside have sun, booze, pop music and tans. In fact I hate the British seaside. I'm loving Jade's singing, dances and jazzy poses in the quartet lol.

Day 62

LOL at the helium BB impression. That is a bit of a difficult question to answer who you think deserves to win and why. I suppose it's a combination of who's been the most entertaining, the most natural, the most nicest and the most up for the experience, really. Sod these sympathy stories of Pete having tourettes (even though i liekd him), or Darnell being "too white for the black kids and too black for the white kids", or Steve losing his legs. It's suppsoed to be about how they are actually in their respective series, not about what they may have been through before.

More Jadeisms - "The Tubby Chucker Boys" and "Chubby Chubba and the Fat Boys" Lol. I dilike when housemates try and second guess BB like how sure Jonny is there's an eviction that night. Hahahaha, return of the helium voices again.

Jade really is quite irritating when she put on her 'Bubba' act but all in all she's a good HM. How come she's changed her mind though about thinking Kate will be 4th now instead of her? And then Kate thinks it's between Alex and Jonny to win.

It does seem like a huge event doesnt it and everything seems bigger, the crowd, the stage, the giant tv outside the house and the crowds are not just there for pantomime they are actually there to be part of it.

The interviews are really in depth which i love and Jades evcitions was sex! :)

Davina looks lush in the white suit. I liked that she wore black for most evictions but this is a nice contrast. Shame about the hair all series lol. Davina: "I hope you are enjoying your finale night party." I can't really say it's a party, Davina. It's 2002 and I'm sat on my Nan's sofa with her sayign "What is this show? God, in't she loud? Who is this piggy?" Lol. I watched the launch at a party though- it was pure coincidence but we all stopped to watch the launch.

That crowd, the setup, and Davina's interaction with them is amazing. Lol at Jade and Jonny being etiquette. LOL Alex's speech was a bit of a downer. I think it's his attitude even in the final week that makes him come across as ungrateful and undeserving. Aww, I hope they did keep in contact.

How did BB attract the attention of stars like Johnny Depp and Samuel L Jackson? Can it do that again? It really is the best final group of any regular BB.

Ooh, Davina's interviewing the families. This is refreshing. Jackiey really did become a celebrity in her own right when the press described her as a "one armed lesbian" and then when Avid Merrion got hold of her. Lol at Graham Norton beign there too, BB could do with a few celeb fans showing up on finale nights. I liek that Joanne says Jonny's exactly like he is in the house. Ok, lots of white suits now with Davina, Joanne and Kate's sister. Freaky.

And fourth place is - Jade! She's actually getting a lot of cheers. Lol at Kate shouting "Open the door!" as if she wants her out asap. Omg Jade's reaction to Graham Norton being her 'biggest fan' is priceless. Can't wait til she hears about Johnny Depp - and then Avid Merrion lol.

Lol at how she's waving pants around and how Johnny Depp looks. Oh look, there's Adele. I'm glad the later series give the ex HMs more attention on the final nights. Hahahaha at Davina with the cards and it being before the watershed. Christ, Avid Merrion. I really do dislike Leigh Francis and a lot of his creations. I watched Bo Selecta and I did laugh at times but my God he's a tw@t. Davina's shushing him and telling Jade he's scary, which he is.

Adele vs Kate - Imagine if he said Kate lol. It's nice he said Adele though. Did him and Adele actually get together before he was with Mel from BB1? Either way it was good seeing them briefly reunited for that task in BB8.

The drunken Alex VT is cracking me up and his reaction to the dance behind the door is cringey but hilarious. I hope he kept that accoridan and that he doesn't regret his BB experience because he said he didn't during Dermot's Last Supper. I shall always remember him as - the tit. OMG Tim's gone blonde? Why is he lurking in the shaddows? I want to see. Blonde probably suits him more.

Oh here come the ex HMs. Forgot about this bit. And the most rewarding part is we can see Tim's blonde hair lol. Hahaha at the love triangle because Lee is loving it. And I love Alison, she was so game. Lol poor Tim got booed, maybe they didn't like his new look. Lol at Sunita being there and Davina moving her along with a swift arm movement and turn of the head. I quite like the ex HMs being on stage for the announcement.

And the winner is Kate! :D Lol I still do their little leg dance from time to time. Aww, Jonny and Joanne should have been a super couple. I'd have called them Jojo.

Well, as I said earlier in the thread, she did try to get involved in some way in UBB, but her schedule didn't allow it, works in Brum now. I think she only did BB:CH as a favor to her friend, who was the booker, and they wanted someone last minute, it was all a bit rushed.

TBH, though, why should she gush about BB, after all people seem to forget about the fact for years BB didn't invite exers on bblb, in fact when Kate was doing RI:SE they had Dougie, Iain, Zora et al on the show, but never Kate. Fame *****s like belo and Nikki have infiltrated bb subsidary shows, but until Dermot left they really weren't allowed on, and he often said we're not to talk about previous contestants.

Touchy, maybe but you made a point based on an interview 4 years ago where she just didn't want to talk about it. You brought it up, I just put in a counter-point. Maybe you don't defend winners against what you believe to be wrongful accusations, but I do.

If she'd slated it that may have been a point. As I said, surely the more recent interview is more apposite. Also, as I said at the time, BB weren't even allowing previous contestants on BBLB, so what did she owe them?

I've just finished watching Big Brother 3 after all these weeks.

What a fantastic series.
I loved the evictions, it really made me feel like I was in 2002 - you could tell this series was MASSIVE in the country and really got the whole nation talking.

I wish I was old enough in '02 to actually live that, the closest I've gotten to that would of been Big Brother 7.

Anyway the house was pretty awesome, really big.
The housemates were brilliant, so normal and entertaining.
There were barely any tasks but I don't really care.
The series in general was just fantastic and the final 4 were easily the best finalists we have ever had - my opinion sadly hasn't changed on Jade Goody but that doesn't matter.

It's a real shame Kate Lawler is so ignorant to the show though nowadays as she seemed so happy in the final.

Does anyone know what ever happened to Johnny?

Alex has become one of my favourite housemates, his dry humour was brilliant.

So yes Big Brother 3 was quality and I'm glad I gave it a chance, I really am.

It's a shame there were no best bits on the final though, the series deserved them. :(
I feel really weird not having BB3 to watch now, it's like that feeling you get at the end of Summer once BB ends on TV.
I rewatched BB5 this time last year; when I say rewatch I mean I watched it before but can't remember so kind of watched it for the first time again LOL - anyway I don't think BB3 is as good as Big Brother 5; I enjoyed BB5 alot more.

But BB3 really was brilliant.

I've been reading viewer's opinions on it from the morning after the final on the comments of this site - it's really quite hilarious hearing them wishing for BB4 to be even better :laugh:

I know that Jonny got married a year later and some of his wedding guests were Anouska and Jon from BB4 I believe, Lynne and that Thai bride from Corrie - not Xin, the one Fred Elliot fancied. And then recently Jonny was in a ad for British Gas.

Alex dated Mel from BB1 for a couple of years but they had a difficult break-up I think. He was going to be in the BB Panto but dropped out after a car accident which IIRC resulted in someone dying and was replaced by Spencer or Tim. Alex was also in a TV ad...

I'm on Day 4 of BB3 so far. Not gonna lie, it's quite boring. Hopefully things pick up, but I'm used to watching the first week being jam-packed with drama and excitement.

I'm watching it on YT because none of the links in this thread work anymore :( and it sucks because it's really **** quality.
