It's another movie that is overrated because of its controversial or taboo subject matter.
If it was about Heath Ledger and his slutty cowgirl it wouldn't have been as popular.

It's like Brendan and Ste's storyline in Hollyoaks. Hated by everyone and the actors were criticised, then as soon as they're given a gay storyline the wind changes and everyone worships the ground they walk on.

Actually, I think it was one of Ang Lee's better films, especially when you consider he made **** like Ride with the Devil and the Hulk (sorry Arista). Too long though and Jake Gyllenhaal will never live down that comical tache.
