k the last half hour was good and really emotional but i had already lost interest long before then


plus i couldnt even understand what heath ledger was saying most of the time

It's subject matter largely overshadows what a decidedly average film it is.

I haven't seen it, but I do like Ang Lee the guy who made it.

I love The Ice Storm. Crouching Tiger..., plus Lust Caution (that's his best I think).

It's another movie that is overrated because of its controversial or taboo subject matter.
If it was about Heath Ledger and his slutty cowgirl it wouldn't have been as popular.

It's like Brendan and Ste's storyline in Hollyoaks. Hated by everyone and the actors were criticised, then as soon as they're given a gay storyline the wind changes and everyone worships the ground they walk on.
