Well what did everyone think of the soaps royal wedding episodes?

I love that Corrie went with the Anti-Royalist guy, and also showed that nobody on the street was really that bothered - must be the first time in a decade Corrie has resembled real life :joker:

Theres not exactly much they can do with significant events so they always look lame

I mean with any big news item/event, like the time MJ died

I think EE tried the most, editing in actual footage, but I just cringed at most of the soaps today. Corrie just turned Carry-On film

Emmerdale edited some footage in too.

But I missed Corrie, is it still "The Adventures of Drippy Fiz and her Sociopathic Husband"?

Just music though Emmerdale. Unless I missed the coverage....

Corrie was more focused on this weekend away (Tracey, Steve, Amy) and Xin, Graham. But all daft imo

Did you even watch EE today? :joker:

It was a complete fail, was quite funny - I imagine it was the same thing you said Corrie did, showing no one really cared.

Alfie tried to have some big British celebration in the Vic and hardly anyone showed up at all, the street party consisted of a little kid and Dot LOL.

Although I do like how they edited in the coverage of the wedding, did Corrie do that too?

They just edit it in at the last minute. They don't need the characters there. If you look it was just screenshots of the wedding. The editors will have whacked them in there today.

And no, Corrie didn't show any footage

EDIT - Thought you asked how

I am half expecting to hear there have been complaints as to the guy from Border Controls and his attitude to the Royals.
People moan about daft other little things,I thought he was rather way over the top, especially for the position he was in and the reason he was there in the first place.

Quite brave of Corrie to take that line I thought.

I was more surprised they were watching the royal wedding in Neighbours lol.
