Did anybody hear about Erik Peters proposed move to either Newcastle or Stoke could be off?

He got sent off, in his first game back after being out for nine months with a broken metatarsal, stormed off and then wanted to put his fist through safety glass and bizarrely went through it (only half of him though) and it stripped his tendons and main artery.

Hearts have completed the signing of Michael Ngoo on loan from Liverpool until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old has already trained with the Hearts first-team and will go straight into John McGlynn's squad for Saturday's Scottish Communities League Cup semi-final against Inverness.

Ngoo is the second Liverpool player after Danny Wilson to sign for Hearts following the lifting of their transfer embargo.

Ravel Morrison could be on the brink of an incredible return to the Premier League - with champions Manchester City.

The former Manchester United whizkid, now on West Ham's books, has caught City’s eye with a string of highly-impressive performances during a season-long loan spell at Championship side Birmingham.

That has prompted Premier League champions City to make discreet enquiries about the 20-year-old midfielder - who was once regarded as one of English football’s hottest prospects while at Old Trafford.

United manager Sir Alex Ferguson even claimed he was one of the best young players he has ever worked with, but Morrison left the Reds after failing to agree a new contract as he wanted regular football.

Morrison made just one nine-minute substitute for West Ham after Sam Allardyce took him to Upton Park 14 months ago before they fell out, but has been rebuilding his career and reputation as a regular starter in the second-tier with Birmingham.

Arsenal are definitely a club that can attract players, but the truth is most will be tempted by United/City/Chelsea currently due to wages and ambition.

I know Arsenal fans blame RVP for going and mainly the way he went about it, but the facts are if your board had more ambition then you might have been able to keep some of those players that left.

we will never sign your typical world class players like Cavani or Falcao due to their prices and they are the type of players united and city would be interested in.. but there are plenty of class players out there like Jovetic for instance who we definitely have a chance of signing if Wenger puts his hand in his pocket and spends. Iv learnt to never have high hopes with signings anymore tho, its a shame

One negative I think about Wenger is that he is too stubborn and the reason why SAF is miles ahead of him is a Manager is that winning mentality and the ability to reinvent himself and the club he represents with the times.

i wouldnt even compare Wenger to SAF to be honest, I dont know what goes on behind closed doors but Fergie obviously has the backing to sign a player when he wants, Our wage structure wont allow us to do that.

They were a fail, but they weren't cheap either. They were pricey ****e players who were good for their level. Oh and in terms of a clear out. It just won't happen, because no one is taking their sub par players for the wages they are on and would want.
