I like the new titles, but I dislike the new theme tune, I remember the old old ones where it used to show moments from episodes, I always remember that woman getting slapped

The theme wasnt always the big dramatic one you used to hear

I would love for EE to do something like this, the way Corrie and Emmerdale have done - but it would piss too many people off, but it'd still be cool to see.

But yeah I love these new ones.

I prefer the old ones, it had a more countryside feel to it IMO:).

Yeah, I think the most 'drastic' change EastEnders have ever done was in '93:

Emmerdale's big 40th is next year lol :D Did you know it only got a set in 1998, before that, it was filmed in a real village :p

I don't mind the titles themselves, I suppose they're showing off the new sets they've built but the theme and end logo is like morning television.

Don't like the new music, it sounds like someone has re-hashed it on a keyboard in their bedroom... And the opening titles are bizarre, why show the Dingles manky living room?? :bored: (Well I suppose 99% of the cast are Dingles) It should have shots of the exteriors not the interior sets...

And most ridiculous of all is those hills that have now miraculously appeared behind the village! :rolleyes:

They didn't check the first opening titles, Beckindale is clearly surrounded by huge hills - the clue is in the name Emmerdale/Beckindale - Dale = Valley

But not as close as those ones are now! And it's just silly as they will never be seen in the actual show surrounding the village as they are not there, so stupid to have them CGI'd in at the start of the show... Besides since the new village has been there we have clearly seen it is surrounded by flat land & fields...
