What's been happening in Corrie?

Caught it for the first time in ages, yesterday. I was actually impressed. Yes, it could be better, and this isn't Corrie at its very best, but it's improved a lot, and I thought it was quite enjoyable.

Anyway, I haven't caught it in ages, because of the heavy decline in quality, but I gave it a go yesterday (I was in my Auntie's house, and she switched on after EE, so I had no choice!). I actually liked Steve and Becky's "dates".

However, I still don't know what's been happening in The Street. Could any of you be so kind as to fill me in? Cheers.

That storyline is just strange, it's not the transvestite bit, it's just the fact that they used two old people in the storyline - and one of them can't act for toffee
