Hollyoaks bosses have today released the official publicity shot for this year's series of Hollyoaks Later, which airs next month.

The latest run of the late-night E4 spinoff show sees Hollie-Jay Bowes reprise her role as Michaela McQueen for Mercedes's hen party in Ibiza, while Amy Walsh - sister of Girls Aloud singer Kimberley - takes on the role of Jennifique, a new member of the McQueen clan.

Aston Kelly plays fellow newcomer Animal, while existing favourites like Mitzeee, Doug and Warren will also feature in the after-dark specials.

While Mercedes flies off abroad for her pre-wedding celebrations, her fiancé Riley heads to an outdoor activities retreat with the lads - where a terrifying ordeal awaits them.

Mitzeee causes her own unique brand of mischief by crashing the boys' weekend, while Seth gets into trouble as his encounter with a prostitute has horrifying consequences…

Serial killer Silas Blissett has also been tipped to feature in Hollyoaks Later - what could he have in store and who will be in danger?

Hollyoaks Later returns to E4 with five new episodes running from Monday, September 5 to Friday, September 9 at 10pm each night.

I don't think that was the actual actress's bum. They never showed her arse and face at the same time.

But seeing Seth's arse made me feel physically sick. It felt wrong watching him in a sex scene.

And it was great seeing Michaela again, looks much better without bleached hair. But her whole setup in Ibiza I found too far fetched. And the McQueens can certainly pick silly names "Jennifique" my arse.

I didn't realise Ethan and Riley were supposed to be mates, I've never seen a scene between them. But then I haven't watched the main show properly for a while.

And the Ibiza thing I like except for not really being able to believe the storyline they're going for with Michaela. I'm sick of Mercedes and her long face and long line of lovers, and the show was missing Jacqui (the best one). Carmel can stay missing in a convent for all I care.

Warren wants to find out Mercedes' secret as they have past history and he dislikes Carl so he could blackmail him if he finds out.

Warren obviously set that up and it will turn out that Seth did not kill that girl IMO.

Bart's babysitting Theresa's baby at the same time as bunking off in the park. And Rae seems to pop up in random places with a couple of lines before vanishing again.

The last episode was good although It would have been far more interesting if Seth actually had killed her, anyone and their dog could have seen what was going to happen from a mile off. Rae's undoubtedly gonna die otherwise they'd have probably included Liberty in her place as she has stronger ties to Theresa. The Ibiza story is a waste of time and Myra's the only saving grace of it and the fat camp is just there to fill in time really.

They've wasted Micheala if they've only brought her back for the week as she's just been there rather then having any significance to the plot. I'm guessing it's just a way to bring her back to the main show though.

Stealing Theresa's phone was laughable. As if you wouldn't notice that twonk wading through the crowd in a hood.
When he first smashed her over the head, wouldn't you expect her to scream?
And then being strangled literally infront of Theresa and Will and they conveniently don't see it.

But shame for Rae, let's hope it's finally set this storyline at full pelt until it's concluded because I for one am sick of the paranoid Lyndsey episodes. Give the girl some new dialogue.

It was a decent end, I think the problem with this series is that it started off strong but they lost momentum quickly. They needed to be a bit braver with the stories I think, only the stag and the Silas story was really that interesting. Duncan's story was just a distraction and Mcqueen's was just an excuse to bring Micheala back.

Was Pretty good in the end. The way he got her outside was a bit dodgy, and Theresa would notice straight away if her phone was gone. The death looked good though. Rae was good though, they should've had her as Theresa's best mate instead of Liberty and Liberty just not appear at all.

I've never really been much of a fan of Rae, but this latest story where she did everything she could to get Teresa and Will together changed my opinion of her. I really started to like her and then I was absolutely shocked by the ending, just as I was getting in to her.

Still it was a great twist I never thought they were going to have Silas kill in Later. Can't wait for what's next in store with Silas.

I thought the last series of Hollyoaks later was much better than this one. I wasn't that impressed really.

The one issue with Hollyoaks Later really is, a big major character will never get killed off. Simply because not everybody who watches Hollyoaks, views the Later edition. This is partly why i'd love to see Hollyoaks become a permanent Later show, as well as the storylines always being much better.

Also, Rae is no major loss. The big loss will be Silas, well, i'm expecting him to be off soon due to the results of his tests he had at the hospital several weeks back. Big, big shame if he does indeed go. :(
