Cheryl will release 'Call My Name' as the lead single from her new album on June 10. The track was written and produced by Calvin Harris.

The singer revealed that she will release 'National Anthem' from her debut album Born To Die after she was forced to postpone a gig in the US because she was shooting the music video.

She said: "I'm afraid I have to sadly postpone my performance at Soho House New York on Monday, I have to go and shoot the music video for my next single 'National Anthem'.

"I will be back to join you all for a roof top performance in August - see you soon."

'National Anthem' marks the fourth release from the LP, which has so far topped the charts in seven countries and sold over two million copies worldwide.

Lana Del Rey has been announced as the face of H&M's Autumn/Winter range.



The Swedish fashion brand have confirmed the 26-year-old singer’s involvement in their latest collection.

The 1960s inspired shots show Del Rey in a peach mohair jumper and matching pastel skinny jeans with her trademark beehive hair, cat-eye winged liner and nude lipstick.

Launching in September, Del Rey, real name Elizabeth Grant, will star in press advertising and a commercial featuring her song "Blue Velvet".

Donald Schneider, H&M's creative director, said: “Lana is totally unique, and we wanted to create a print and film campaign that’s just as special. The mood is very LA noir and is inspired by our fall collection, which also fits with Lana’s own personal style.”

Lana Del Rey has debuted a live cover of 'Heart-Shaped Box'.

The singer performed the Nirvana classic during a show at the Enmore Theatre in Sydney last night (July 26) - scroll down to watch her performance.

'Heart-Shaped Box' was originally released as the first single from Nirvana's third studio album 'In Utero'. Released in August 1993, it reached Number Five on the UK singles chart.

Del Rey's cover replaces the grunge sound of the original with her usual twangy guitars and sweeping strings and receives a whoop of recognition from the Sydney crowd.

Del Rey has previously spoken about the impact the song had on her when she was growing up. Speaking to a radio station at the end of last year (2011), she said: "When I was 11, I saw Kurt Cobain singing 'Heart Shaped Box' on MTV and it really stopped me dead in my tracks. I thought he was the most beautiful person I had ever seen. Even at a young age, I really related to his sadness."

Pop star Lana Del Rey has topped off a stellar year by being crowned Woman of the Year by GQ magazine.

The singer - who released her hit album Born To Die earlier this year, featuring the hit single Video Games - received the award at a star-studded event in London.

The magazine said Del Rey was a "true pop star in her own right".

Lana Del Rey has come under fire after it was revealed that she posed naked on the front of the new issue of GQ.

I love Yayo but I have had it for a year as it came on the original born to die leak i heard.

I love every single one though.

I cant even order them (just tried to) because I think they're all on par with one and other. I prefer them to Video Games and Blue Jeans though. Not but a measurable amount really as everything she does is perfection but still.
