View Full Version : The first year I really don't know who to put my money on...

They are all so... average. If I walked into a town bar there isnt one there that would stand out as 'different' or 'not belonging' (which are the types I usually enjoy most). No one is standing out for me right now at all. I have normally stuck a few quid on first impressions (which normally pay off I have to say), but this year nada :/

Saying that I havent watched the Sat show yet... tell me it gets better?

Well, apparently not, because I said I normally put money on FIRST impressions.

Watching the show tonight wouldnt be my first impression, would it?

I was asking about the Sat show, based on the fact I havent seen it, so how is the thread 'invalid'?

didnt say it wasnt, I was just making the point that I normally can pick a winner on the Fri but this year I couldnt.

I think this is a "Year of the Underdog", so many big characters they're all bound to be phased out one by one and dynamics rapidly changing weekly.

I can see some of my current favourites completely changing by Week 4/5 tbh.

Getting the feeling from reading around that Mark is the early favourite. I'm just basing this on audience reaction on the night, and the fact that I've seen quite a few Mark supporters around the internet. There you go, put your money on Mark!
