Ok so this might sound weird from me like, with how much I HATED CBB8 (Kerry Katona was the ONLY reason I watched it) but does BB12 actually feel a bit like the old BB.
The music sequences and Marcus have certainly toned down a bit  the only  part for me is that from beginning to end the show is smothered in name tags, I mean do we really need 5/6 name tags per person a show. I mean in CBB8 it was only the first time a housemate was shown their name popped up and then it was gone until tomorrows show but BB12 is 100% more like TOWIE, names in EVERY scene (Even Pamela Anderson gets the name tag treatment :conf2:)
HOPEFULLY Channel 5 will tone them down a bit soon and then BB will 75% be back to normal (LF -25%).

I think it's really good, I am really grateful to Channel 5 for saving it. I also think next years will be even better once they hopefully make changes to it after learning what's needed that was missing this year.

You only watched CBB8 for Kerry ******ing Katona?
I would call you a bellend but I can't be arsed with the infractions, also the rest of the post was pretty spot on anyway. :)
I agree - they have turned it all down abit.
But the start of the show was horrible, when the dick heads begun blasting David Guetta and that mess Nicki Minge all over the house, also when they begun playing One Direction at one point - I was just like 'Oh do me a favour!'

if only the music stopped it would be brilliant

Totally agree, it's feeling like classic BB again. It's gotten off to a great start, there are a great bunch of characters in there and it will only lead to friction. The editing never really bothered me to begin with but I actually find the names useful now seeing as there's so many in there, only bit I don't like is the music when they're waking up.
My main gripe, and it's something that REALLY irks me for some reason, is the housemates talking in the diary room narrating over what's going on. It works for I'm A Celeb but not for Big Brother. PLEASE stop doing it.
Y'know these housemates are like a mixture of BB5 and BB6 - so many of them remind me of previous housemates, which is actually no bad thing.
So, without further ado:
GET ANTON OUT.

I don't mind that personally but I suppose I'm used to it being a BBUS watcher where they do that all the time. Housemate narration can be handy sometimes when you're not really sure what's going on.

It's the very worst aspect of the US version, repeating the obvious something which the host does quite a bit over there too. The best thing from their version (Save and Replace/Veto) they have probably got rid of from our series.
I actually started a thread on that in the American BB section of the forum, and Callum seemed to agree with me there. :D
