She has 5 kids, 3 are in care, her mam and dad have the other 2. The reason for this being...her lying. Each child was to a different man, all illegal immigrants. She would let them stay at her house in exchange for sex. Anyway, each time she got pregnant, she accused them of rape. Then, with her condition(apparently its an actual medically recognised condition, not just lying for the sake of it) she believed in her head that they HAD raped her, and each time took them to court(they were found not guilty, all of them). This is 5 different men, in the space of about 5 years. Anyway, there was loads of other **** going on and the kids obviously got took off her as she was found unfit. But NOW, she has got it into her head that the kids were took off her because her father is a pedophile. And will tell anyone who will listen. Quite obviously this is not the case, to anyone who knows her history and the fact that 2 of the kids live with her father...but to people who DONT know all of that...well lets just say her father has had a lot of beatings for something he hasnt done.

The way she is adamant to Jay that she never said it like it was and also face to face with Big Brother in the diary room does show she has a set of events in her mind she thinks actually happened. However, we shouldn't confuse this with manipulation. I still don't think she's a bad person, just a confused one ... and who isn't?

BTW ... seen a few references to mental, nut-job, schizo and the like on various posts. Not nice. One in four people have mental health issues in any year so that's a fair number on this forum. Also, it could be in our families.

I am glad too. IIRC you were the very one who, on another thread disputed this with me, disagreed about what did in fact actually happen. As someone else said, most people study human behaviour - some of us manage to recall that behaviour and what was said without having to be shown repeats of what did actually hapen - far better than others.

Most people don't make very deliberate and calculated decision and accusations, designed to specifically vilify or hurt a person and then completely deny doing so. Most normal everyday people don't.

She's been lying through her teeth from the very second she walked down the stairs to enter the house.

Is she so deluded in her own little world that she absolutely believes everything she says, I think she does.

There are certainly tendancies of the Pseudological fantastisist. It doesn't mean that person is a bad person though, far from it.

I'm glad they showed the recap of the 'Heaven's eating everything' bit to refresh my memory as Rebecka clearly believes in what she says. It's not pre-meditated but a spontaneous reaction to events of the moment and she believes she is in the right, even though she herself ate a biscuit when given one by Tom only moments earlier.

Not really seeing what all this 'Evil Rebecka' fuss was about, I took the time to look more closely and read her body language (I study human behaviour and it's the reason I watch Big Brother). She does genuinely believe her own version of events and this may be more down to confabulation where she unconsciously fills gaps in her memory by fabrications that she accepts as facts. The way she is adamant to Jay that she never said it like it was and also face to face with Big Brother in the diary room does show she has a set of events in her mind she thinks actually happened. However, we shouldn't confuse this with manipulation. I still don't think she's a bad person, just a confused one ... and who isn't?

BTW ... seen a few references to mental, nut-job, schizo and the like on various posts. Not nice. One in four people have mental health issues in any year so that's a fair number on this forum. Also, it could be in our families.



This is what confuses me about Hm's like Rebeckah, Bea.

When i'm being lied to i have a feeling that i'm being lied to, a "gut feeling" probably coming from an unconscious understanding of the Body Language i'm seeing along side the lie.

But with Rebeckah and Bea, i just never got the sense they were lying, obviously i knew they were because i saw the lies taking place.

This leads me to go along with the gist of your post, i.e she doesn't know she is lying so how could she tell me she is. Yet when Bea had her Eviction Interview and was confronted with her incredible lies she seemed to ignore the evidence of her own eyes and refused to admit wrong.

Fast forward to Rebeckah's eviction interview. i am sure BB will show her the footage we saw last night clearly showing her lie as we have seen it. At that point if as you believe she "unconsciously fills gaps in her memory by fabrications that she accepts as facts" would she not fess up as it dawns on her that she has mislead herself.

Alternatively if she does not fess up would that not show she has been fully aware of her lies?
