Coronation Street's Eileen Grimshaw finds love in the unlikeliest of places next month as firefighter Paul rescues her from Underworld's roof.
The latest romance twist on the cobbles begins as Rosie catches Eileen on an online dating website and encourages her to make some changes to her profile, including taking ten years off her age!
Eileen later receives a message from a guy called Nigel and although she's worried about her white lies, she arranges a date to coincide with her 50th birthday.
However, things begin to go wrong for Eileen when she sees that her workmates have decided to mark her milestone by flying a 'Happy 50th Eileen' banner from the roof of the factory. Panicking that Nigel will see the banner and discover the truth, Eileen rushes up onto the roof to take it down.
To Eileen's dismay, though, Nigel does see the sign and storms off - and things get worse for her when she realises that she's stuck!
When a fire crew arrives, Eileen's mortified by her situation but she soon recognises firefighter Paul from the tram crash. The incident marks the beginning of a new love plot for Eileen as show bosses have confirmed that she will begin dating Paul.
