Getting a new server would be a hella lot easier for them than to completely revamp and transfer all posts from the old website. They've done what was in the best nature for the site, what would getting a new server achieve? Nothing in terms of security, it would make things a wee bit faster but that's it.

By getting this new forum we've got increased security, no more big hacks like last time. At least, we're better protected now. We also get better features, it's more up to do, user-compatible, we can customise things more.

If they were being lazy, like you said, they'd have left it as it was - and then we'd be hacked again.

Apparently there is a chance they MAY be making an elder scrolls V - but only a long time in the future lol.

They kinda gave up on it during IV though, they left some big glitches in the game, even for the game of the year edition.
