Miliband = Mr Bean, hard to take him serious on anything even when he is speaking sense, which doesn't happen often.

Not exactly one of the top prioritys in the houses of parliment lol?

What is the point of Ed whatever his name is even mentioning Big Brother when theirs far bigger things to discuss than a reality show on Channel 5.

Well he was on about getting something for nothing and referred to the celebrity culture of society now, parts made sense but he was getting at reality TV too in a way and therefore shows like BB.
Really silly, anyone going on these shows are giving their time and for weeks on end too, they are not doing nothing and most come away with nothing especially on the main BB, obviously celebrities get their fee for going on whether they are in it to the end or go out in week one.

A very foolish and inappropriate speech content from someone who should be trying to connect with all aspects of society, yet seems to with most speeches he makes, actually distance himself more from the people he will need to get elected.
He is though simply not up to the job.

Global capitalism is in chaos, there are 5million people unemployed in the UK, fat people are bringing the NHS to its knees, Islam is taking over the world and all the leader of the hated Labour Party wants to talk about is Big Brother.

OH ****

Daily Star reports something, it must be totally factual and not completely spun out of all proportion by one tiny little sentence he could have used.

I dare say more people agree with what he said than dont and big brother supporters willing to hinge their vote on "he dunneed sum bitchin bout bb innit" are probably too stupid to find the polling station anyway :joker::joker:

Typical Labour. Having left this country a legacy of economic disaster and societal malaise, the burning subject now on their minds is Big Brother? A morally bereft political party having the audacity to criticise the vacuousity of celebrity! Such barefaced, blatant hypocrisy.

shouldant he be on rothschilds yacht with blair and mandelson taking it up the ar*se from rothschild, and then scurring back to deliver another message from his paymasters?

labour and conservative, run by the elites and portrayed as a choice, what a joke, wake up everyone.

Considering the state the Labour Party left the country in, you'd think Miliband would have bigger fish to fry... the idiot.

Big Brother is dying anyway. The ratings have been in continual decline for years and the move to channel 5 has only added to it. This years show is much better than I ever thought it would be but the general public just don't care anymore. TV has moved on. That the Daily Star (a tory paper owned by the man who owns channel 5, the broadcaster of Big Brother) is running this as a headline says it all really. Even that papers readers don't give a damn about Big Brother anymore. We should just enjoy Big Brother while it's still on the air, because it will be low ratings and public apathy that kill it, no politicians.

And anyone who would base their vote in the general election on whether their favourite TV show is aired is a cretin.

I'd rather they voted for that than not to vote at all. More than half the people eligible to vote can't be bothered, yet still feel justified in moaning about the government.

Obviously voter apathy is a problem, but I'd rather people become more informed that vote for dumb reasons.

CharlieO

It is probably just a completely contrived story to increase controversy and therefore get people more interested in the subject and more viewers will watch.

Doubt it will work though. It is so obvious what they are doing, the labour party don't give a crap about BB.

So, we've got so many issues in our country right now ... and Miliband's priority is reality TV?

I find it funny when he and Cameron trash-talk one another, they're both dicks. :)

or, how about the people that vote are under the illusion that they have a choice, when in reality, labour and conservative are run by the same shadowy elites/banksters behind the scenes.

Do you seriously think george w bush 'ran' america? he cant even tie his own shoelaces, LOL

the same with this clown milliband, run the country? he cant even dress himself, same with cameron, they are there to shepard the flock of sheep, thats you and me.

The sheep thing? You, if you so choose, but I'd appreciate it if you didn't lump me into your wild generalisation on the strength of a couple of posts.

If you don't choose to vote, that's your choice. But I'm not interested in hearing people who don't vote spout rubbish about how bad the government is. If you really want to know how parties work and who runs them, check out your party of choice, join your local assocation, get involved in choosing the next MP to represent you, as well as the councillors and city/county councillors who will represent you at local level. Or you could sit there and bask in your conspiricy theory. Your choice.

Scarlett.

I think most people realise that. Like everything in the tabloids, there is a grain of truth and no more.
