View Full Version : Facebook voting making phone votes pointless?

7p per vote vs 36p per vote. About 5 Facebook votes is equivalent to 1 phone call price-wise.

Not to complain about cheaper ways to vote, but as someone who doesn't have a Facebook, who can't vote 100+ times without it costing a ridiculous amount on my phone bill, I feel like my phone call votes are having even littler effect on evictions. Obviously not expecting my vote to decide the outcome :D but I know people have voted hundreds of times via Facebook, which just isn't reasonable via telephone because it's that much more expensive.

I don't know, maybe I'm making a bigger deal of it than I should. I just feel Facebook voters will have a much bigger say on eviction nights.

Yes it's rather unfair on us non-Facebook users who have to vote the expensive way. Although I'd rather vote expensively than sign up for that preposterous website.

I'm still not sure if one vote via facebook is the equivalent of one vote by phone. On Big Brother Brazil it isn't.

Probably you are correct, it will likely help though some to vote who otherwise wouldn't.

I am out and about a lot so the phone is the way I prefer to vote anyway. I am in no way a fan of facebook.

:worship:

Though I don't have much room to talk, as I can't vote either way.

Why not open a fb account just to vote? As you can pay by paypal you wouldn't even need to use your correct details on fb I don't think

i don't think it's fair that the costs are different, but i think fb votes are a great idea

For most Facebook haters (myself included) it's nothing to do with cost....
