Yea I know he has done a LOT of sexual stuff and has had many experiences BUT he's a young lad who comes from a culture where things like that are accepted whether the majority of people outside of his culture thinks it's right or not.

He's been a caring housemate and friend to those in the house. He's not caused unnecessary drama and he keeps **** real. Most importantly he treats everyone with respect, especially the females and he can recognize which girls are DTF and which girls or proper lasses. Whether that's really him or not, that's what's been presented on the show.

I do actually agree, I think he is quite humble, I know he talks a lot about women but he's very honest about his intelligence (or lack of) and he does seem quite down to earth, not interested in just getting 5 minutes of fame or anything like that. He doesn't really bitch and stir much either, keeps out of arguments and is just generally a laid back bloke. He might be a bit vulgar but he's just having a laugh and a bit of fun really

I grew up in the North East and have never met anyone like Jay. Neither have any of my friends or family, who still live there.....he is not typical of any sort of 'culture' I know, whatever that means. However, I have seen Geordie males like Jay, on Geordie Shore, who are chosen because they are not typical representatives and therefore entertaining viewing..........I know personally lots of Geordies, male and female, of varying ages and not one of them is not embarrassed and horrified by the representation of Jay as a typical young Geordie male..............

He's young, thick, genuine, inconsequent, lovely and has a good heart. I think he's a great person and a decent housemate who doesn't take himself too seriously and I like housemates like that.
