This is really starting to get to me. Kind of makes me ashamed to be a BB fan at times.
Is this bothering anyone else?
Jake.

I wouldn't mind... but they even booed the TOT at one stage, pathetic much xD...
They are just foul... they cheer complete morons and boo the more innocent, loveable people.

I'm not bothered, it's happened near enough every eviction for the past two or so years now and if the housemates have ever watched the show before they should know to expect the boos when they come out. Of course i'd prefer them NOT to boo the nice people but i'm not going to get upset about it when they do.

I don't mind it if it's deserved but it's just pointless.
Now when the real boo-worthy people come out, it wont mean anything. Also, it completely sends out the wrong messages to the people inside the house.

I agree it seems over the top to me too

I view the show very much like a panto and ever panto gets the boos (I think)

Bothering me too, was all for it when Rebeckah was evicted because she deserved it but when Tashie and Heaven was evicted it was completely un called for and it really didn't need to be so extreme. I felt really bad for poor Tashie, even though I wanted her evicted because I found her annoying she hadn't actually done anything wrong and was so upset when she was evicted as it was.

Everyone gets boos these days, its so annoying.
It was much better when it was a rare occurrence, and when chants were even rarer. Nothing will ever beat 'get grace out'

That really depends on your point of view. To me the people that have come out have deserved the reception they got. It may have been a little too much for Tashie but not really.

Agreed Vicky. There was a time when people would only chant that for the really bad people, but now I cringe when I hear it. Its overused to say the least.

I don't mind some light booing but I don't get why every single housemate has to be heavily booed and receive the "get X out chants". It's far too early in the season for a start.

Loads of people get booed, not just Big Brother contestants. I know it sucks seeing everyone get booed every single week but it's going to happen anyway, just as 80% of the X Factor auditionee's will be booed off stage next year and that football team will be booed off the pitch in the next game. :p
Yeah boos have lost all meaning now because they aren't reserved for the really nasty/bitchy housemates. I mean, Tashie was a bit annoying but she didn't deserve the huge booing she got when she left, although it was more deserved with Rebeckah. But the annoying thing is you then get huge cheers for the likes of Lucien :bored:

I swear Tashie and Heaven were louder booed for than Rebeckah :bored:
Stoopid, espicially for Tashie, what nonsense was that!

Ach as Davina used to tell the evicted hms, it's all just pantomine.
Vicky.

Yeah they always say that. Problem is, its not always pantomime. Some people actually have real hatred for people on a TV show. To the point that they sometimes get attacked etc outside of the house. I cant understand the mentality behind actually hating someone on BB.

Like everything in life, there are the idiots out there who take everything to extremes. Even as far as Soaps are concerned.
What was the girl (Alex), black lassie who got slung out for threatning behaviour and talk - I recall her house / car getting trashed etc. That was utterly appalling.
I'd say those who went to such extremes were animals: but hell, even animals aren't that nuts.
Who yet hasnt deserved their boos?
Beckah deserved it.
Heaven did..
Aden did..

It's ridiculous - now it means nothing when someone gets booed.

I don't think every housemate will get booed.

I think the crowd get whipped up into a bit of a frenzy and a mild dislike comes out as a Boo. Even in Pantomime there is a reason to Boo, and people are right there is hardly any reason to Boo someone these days.
