I'm normally against the idea of newbies because it's not fair that the public had more weeks to get to know the old housemates, have formed an opinion on them and have their favourites but I believe it's necessary in this case.

I don't want any new male housemate mainly because I normally don't care about them anyway, I'm just not very entertained watching men unless it's porn.

Maybe just 2 new girls because of the time left. A jam packed finale isn't bad though, they've done it twice now.

As it stands now, if they continue with 1 eviction per week, there will be 6 people in the final week.

I don't think they'll go the entire series without a double eviction, and I think there will be a mid-week eviction in the last week aswell. Which would leave us with 4 housemates in the final, so I think they will definitely add at least 1 new housemate

the problem is, they pick the same demographic of female intruders each year, and they're basically canon fodder!

1. firecracker 2. sexy hot one 3. ditzy quirky

the firecracker causes too much disruption so is first to leave, the sexy hot one gets perceived as a ***** and the ditzy quirky is perceived as boring (coz they've already got at least one or two ditzy chicks in there already hogging the airtime!)..

Having seen two more females up this week I did jump in thinking we need a couple of females back in the house. Now after some thought I'm against newbies. It's going to get very interesting between the males over the next few weeks and I would like to see how this develops.

I wouldn't see the point in newbies. The house is entertaining enough as it it and is only on a 9 week run this year.

I could get on board with just one new female housemate but anything other than that would just be a let down. They would be nominated straight away and be evicted due to the vote to save. Plus we'd have an stupidly overcrowded final.

If the casting producers can't do their job right in the first instance: that's tough - it means the others in the BB team need to work harder to ensure the public are entertained via tasks etc.
