View Full Version : Would any of you SERIOUSLY be willing to do this on the BB12 Final?

In BB9 - all The Rachel Fans on the Channel 4 forum got together and decided to vote like bollocks for Rachel to win in 2008.
I don't think she was even leading the Vote to Win at all - until that finale night when they all pushed together and voted constantly for her to win.
It's fair to say, although at the time it wasn't a very 'BIG' series - Big Brother 9 was ALOT more watched and talked about than BB12.
And I doubt there are even many people voting this year - seriously, I mean there was HALF a Percentage between Aden and Heaven.
I really think this is the lowest year ever in terms of voting.
So it would be much, much easier for campaigns and sh*t like that to take affect this year.
And I know you are all Big Aaron Fans, so would you all be prepared on the finale night IF he makes the final - to all push and just vote as much as you can [I advise on Facebook] and blow a good Tenner or so on voting?
Votes are only 7p on Facebook, a Tenner could buy you LOADS - so could a Fiver.
So what would you all think? If you bought loads of Facebook Credits for the final and spent them in one night, I think if the forums all did it - it really would give Lord Aaron a better chance of winning.
It's not even the fact that Aaron is a good housemate, it's the principle of not having a predictable winner like Mark or Alex for once!

I think Aaron may well win anyway but nah probably not, if Jay's in the final I might chuck a few votes his way but that'd be it

Definately Patrick. I voted for Sophie to win 15 times, & as voting is 7p, I can vote atleast 50x for Aaron.

Why would you want to tarnish his win a such a way? Surely you would want him to win fair and square if you're such a fan?
Plus BB has the right to ignore block voting from the same party.

Isnt that how it works anyhow? :/

No, the big plan is to get all his followers - Aaron's Army, as he would probably call us, and all of us vote MORE than the 'Average' time.
Most people only vote like 3 Times, we're talking over 20 Odd Votes, that alone is 'Crazy' in some people's eyes.
Why would you want to tarnish his win a such a way? Surely you would want him to win fair and square if you're such a fan?
Plus BB has the right to ignore block voting from the same party.
It would be fair and square? It would be the fans who he already had - voting abit more than we usually would.
And yeah BB has that right, which explains why they used it in BB9's horrific final - oh wait, they didn't.

If you haven't noticed already 60% of the forum are Aaron Supporters, we are the majority :idc:
So yes Patricks campaign would work for the forum & possibly off forum.

Well, tbh, I was in the minority last year in my support of Josie.
I made over £500 that year in winnings.
The 'forum majority' isnt a very good indicator in my experience.

No he would call us The Knights Of The Round Table.

No he is not.
Alex is the predictable little 'Oh hehe I'm so dumb and I'm a bimbo lol' Winner - and it's obvious the producers want her to win aswell, so if she didn't - it'd be a big kick in the balls to them.
Mark is the Brian Belo kind of bloke, I'd like if he won though - he's not ideal but still, but he's predictable, everyone thinks he will win.
Aaron would be out of the blue, in the sense that - he probably, infact HE DOES have the Biggest Online Fan Base - constantly winning all the polls and being spoke about very highly, but at the same time - I don't believe any of us, or the casual viewer think he could win against the other two.

You tarnished Rachel's win yourself in your opening post, but if Aaron was to win in the same way it would be fair and square? Right...

I don't think Patrick thinks that Rachel won unfairly.
Although she was very lucky (close percentages).
Nicole ruined Rex's chances.
Sara & Darnells arguments ruined their chances.
Also Lisa being evicted before the final.

She didn't 'Win Unfairly'.
Yes, I think she was a horrible winner - didn't deserve it at all and was a boring bastard who shouldn't of been in the house in the first place.
However, at the end of the day her fans at least had the will power and the balls to go and spend 50p [that was the price on C4] vote after vote after vote - for her to win.
So she DID win fairly in a sense, because her fans [wherever they came from, probably Wales] at least got together and rose the challenge of crowning her a winner.
I think if Rachel could do it, with a small [but obviously determined] fan base, in a series getting 3 Million a night - then The Lord can do it with a massive online fan base, in a series that barely anyone is watching.
And above all, it only costs us 7p to vote - it costs the BB9 Voters about 50p.

See you've accrued a massive spend there for the votes this year eh.
:D
In answer to the OP. Nah. If I'm actually pushed to vote, I'll do it for the person I want to win - not because I want to force / or buck the voting system. It is what it is.

That's my very point. You said you could vote at least x 50 (ie: £3.50) - it was a bit of humour, clearly not taken well. sigh.
hey, good luck to you - either way, you'll be spending a damn sight more than I will be voting.

BB9 had the closest final vote I've ever seen - it could have been won by any of the final four. 22.5% for Rex out of four, 30.1% for Sara out of three and then 51.3% for Rachel out of two - if you know basic math then you can see that only 1-2% decided final positions.

I know its probably not likely, as Big Brothers format is amazing, and will probably never be fully gone, or atleast not for awhile, but just incase. As if he came 2nd and it was the last one for awhile i would feel a little guilty.

Lol, I will probably spend atleast £5 on Aaron winning, so yeah that is like 75 votes

I think it's less to do with hate: just more to do with glad to see her out of the house to be honest. she's not bringing any real fun element to it -or indeed - to others around her.

You're really not getting me here.
In your mind, Rachel's win is tarnished. It wouldn't matter if BB actually did disregard many block voters that night because in your mind they just plain didn't. And there is nothing anyone can say to change your mind even though you have no real evidence to back up your claims.
Wanting to do something remotely similar to make sure Aaron wins will tarnish his win in other people's minds, even if it doesn't in yours, and I just don't understand why you would want that to happen.
