They don't usually cancel evictions when a housemate walks. Sometimes they will just replace the housemate who walks. Plus there will be many people with tickets for the eviction show.

As I said before, they put Sam in last year with less than 3 weeks left.

I think the only time they cancel an eviction when someone walks is if that person was up for eviction

Yes as I think they have had to pull there little mole out of the house sooner than they liked to save there precious little witch from eviction.

Nah, they've already opened the voting so they won't, they'd only have to refund everyone, it'd be too messy

they've done it before though.... with people wanting a refund being given contact numbers/addresses etc.

they better not cancel it. :(

With who? I could only imagine them doing that if the walker was up for eviction

Something ringing a bell with the year Marcus or Freddie..... they HAVE definately done it before. 100% sure they have.

I sincerely hope they don't cancel the eviction - I can't really see them doing that tbh.

From Channel 4. Confirmation that all phone votes for this week have been cancelled and refunds will be given.
‘This week’s vote has been cancelled due to Kenneth leaving the Big Brother House.
If you voted for any of the housemates who faced eviction this Friday prior to this week’s vote being cancelled and would like a refund you can write to Big Brother at the below address. You will need to send a copy of a phone bill to verify the telephone number you voted from as well as your name and address and you will need to tell us how many times you voted. Once your vote(s) have been verified we will send you a cheque refunding you for the votes you cast. You do not need to put a stamp on your envelope.’

I can't see the Eviction being cancelled. Mark wasn't up for eviction anyway so i can't see it happening.

I don't see it either tbh, but they have cancelled eviction in the past - I really would loathe to see them do it this week of all weeks. Fingers crossed they stick to the original planned eviction.

If you look at the date this was posted it was in 2009 so therefore
not related to this series.

IMHO I think BigBro will continue with the eviction but I personally
think it might be good to postpone the eviction. Faye and Maisy can
still be up for eviciton next week but along with whomever gets nominated
that following week as well (i.e. more candidates for eviction).

I have eyes which work perfectly well thanks. My point remains - the question was asked by Niamh about BB having ever cancelled evictions after votes had been placed. Maybe read what's written in previous posts before trying to pick holes eh. ;)

He was indeed. Took the cowards way out. Horrible little no mark of a man. Bleurgh! :yuk:

something is also ringing a bell with the year Ben was there.... Caimohme (or however you spell it).... eviction was cancelled after she walked - but not sure whether voting had started or not?

Then I'm sure there was something similar with the Gansta Alex woman who was slung out - but again, as above, not sure if votes had been cast yet and /or if she'd been up?

I think when Dan and Vanessa were up in BB5 that that eviction was postponed a week, not sure now if it was because someone walked or not or Kitten being thrown out if she was in that BB. Too far back for me to recall for sure why, now.

Yeah, see if he hadn't been up I don't think they'd have cancelled it which is why I doubt they cancel it this week since Mark wasn't up anyway.

and it's Caoimhe ;)

Absolutely every possibilty, I agree.

I was going about calling you literally Nigh-am (to my absolute mortification, laughter and ignorance - when I was corrected!!!).

It wont be cancelled. IIRC they've only ever scrapped it if one the the evictees left. If anything did happen it'd be like Suze mentioned a Dan/Vanessa situation having it pushed back but can't see that either.

I think you are right - I doubt they will. I'd have very much presumed that any consideration would have been given to what they were going to do IF Mark did walk - and given that he has, and no announcement has been made: it's leaving it very late in the voting week to cancel.

I'm pretty confident things will continue and they will bring in new housemates.

Difference there though was kenneth was actually facing eviction when he left (and rumoured to be leading the votes too IIRC). Mark leaving makes absolutely no difference to this eviction.

the reason for the post was more in connection with the fact that votes had already been cast, and it being too messy -and was directly linked to Niahm's post on that particular aspec of it.

Sorry, I just skim threads half the time

I think some people are just doing a bit of wishful thinking about this eviction being cancelled. As much as I dont want to lose another girl, it would be unfair on the housemates, and the people who have already voted...to cancel it for no reason :/

Agree 100%.

And seeings as voting commences as normal....... it's time for a few of these I think.
