Alex used to be in my "meh" group, I liked her when I found her funny, but overall I didn't hugely like her, but didn't strongly dislike her either.
She has moved into my "Like" group now though.
When she was crying her eyes out over Mark leaving, I felt sorry for her and thought she was showing a nice sensitive sidetoo much though!], she also comforted Aaron when he was crying after surviving his eviction and was saying that he had hoped he would see his son.
Sometimes the stupid things she comes out with annoy me, and I wonder if they are put on. Other times I find them funny, and I think she is clearly just taking the piss.
Overall though I have started to notice her caring side more, and I think she seems like a fairly sweet girl, hence why she's moved to my "Like" category.


She never seems to get involved in arguments but I think this could be because she doesn't seem to drink like the others.
Am I correct or incorrect in saying that she doesn't drink?
I remember in one of the earlier episodes, it showed the housemates dividing up the alcohol and when counting out the cans etc., Aaron said something like "and Alex doesn't drink, so that leaves this amount"

It was only a very brief sentence, and I don't know if they were referring that she wasn't drinking that night only, or that she just doesn't drink at all?
I always see her with the group when they are drinking, and I thought I saw a can of beer nearby her once, but I can't specifically remember seeing her drinking or ever getting tipsy. I have seen her drinking from glasses but I don't know if it was alcohol or water/juice that was in them.

I'm just interested because it seems most girls her age drink. She might just never drink for her own personal preferences or for medical reasons, but I would be interested to know if she usually drinks alcohol outside the house?

Because if she normally drinks but specifically chooses not to drink whilst in the BB house, I think this shows some good sense and maturity.
Some could argue that she doesn't drink so the her "true colours" won't come out on tv, or others could argue that she just doesn't want to make a tit of herself on national television.

Whatever her reason, Heaven did say she was more intelligent than people think, and if she doesn't drink for one of the above two reasons, then imo that does show that she actually more sense and awareness than the other girls in there. It would show that she is being careful not to lose any control of her actions or words whilst on tv. This could be perceived as a bad or a good thing depending on how you view it.

However if it is the case that she just doesn't drink, and never does outside the house either, or if it is the case that she just wasn't drinking that particular night, and that she has drank alcohol in the BB house that I have just been too blind to notice :blush2:, then of course there is nothing really significant about it at all. I have never seen her drunk or tipsy in there though.

If she is faking it - then I personally prefer someone who fakes it by being nice and easy going than someone who fakes it by playing the faux romance card. No contest in my book.

When the show started I wasn't too keen on her, but as the weeks have gone on, I have really grown to like her. Shes just herself, she doesn't drink or smoke, and she gets on with all the housemates.

What you see is what you get, with the others theirs always an uncertainty about them but with her shes just Alex, and for all those reasons above, she will win and deservedly so!

Erm, yes. This isn't a talent contest in which they win a record/tv/mag deal for life, it's a game show in which they win money, and to be honest I hate housemates that are clearly only in the house to find 'fame'.

alex is like any 18yr old apart from she doesnt drink.she makes me think back to when i was 18 i did not get involved in petty squabbles and fighting.maybe we think that faye is only a year older than her but fayes last boyfriend was 40 and aaron is 30 i think she has grown up to quickly let alex be the 18 year old kid that she is and dont expect more than that from her she there for the expierence and the laugh and thats whats shes doing
