Not enough time, I guess. Really disappointed about it though.

Completely unfair that all the other evictees got a message to the house but Maisy didn't get one because of Faye's sister....

What they should do is allow them to video a message once they're out of the house and seen who has voted for them.....now that would be a good twist!

Would love to see Anton's face after those messages!

That would be terrible. They could potentially blow a lot of information.

Keeps them on their toes. Don't see why they should expect messages etc. Quite the opposite tbh.

How would not receiving a message keep them on their toes? :conf:

I suspect that the airtime given to the message - was used up by the introduction of Faye's sister and her entering the house.

I do think it's pretty unfair for other evictees to have had that opportunity and not Maisy.

To not know what will happen from week to week

I don't see it making any huge difference really - the housemate who leaves the message is gone - so it doesn't have that much of an impact - certainly none that we've seen in the past 3 weeks previous.

Different if they were revealing things that they'd learned since being evicted and let the others remaining in the house know about - but since they are recorded beforehand - it makes little odds as far as I see it.

I mean the HM's don't know what is happening week to week. As in message one week. Not the next. Maybe not ever again (they think) and then another........

Or maybe a new HM and no message. Or maybe a HM with a task... or messages

I meant that the fact there was no message meant they will not expect it

I understand perfectly what you meant, which is why I replied as I did in my last post - ie; that I feel it makes no difference with regards to any message being relayed vs impact on the remaining housemates, other than slight disappointment.

I still feel it was unfair that Maisy lost out all the same.

Maybe they'll get the message from Maisy later

I think all HMs should be treated equally, and her message (all of 1 minute usually), should have been played into the house - its the evictee's last chance to leave some sort of lasting impession and maybe get a few things off their chest. To say it has no impact is untrue - remember Rebeckah's?!

It could have played after Jemma went into the house, just not enough time to show both in the show. If not i'll be dissappointed.

It'll be like the 'Bob Righter' twist in BB11 that they just stopped doing with no explanation.

She's probably done the message but because of the new housemate they didn't have time to show it.

It could well be a part of tonight's highlights show.

i reckon it will be in the highlights show instead.

Sadly, perhaps it was recorded, but not much worth the air time, what with new HM?

I'm going to clean this thread a bit, can you all stick to the topic please, and stop using this thread to discuss other members/mods.

I think they might still have done it, just not live.

A little unfair yeah, but Im expecting to see her message on tonights HL show. I dont see why they did it live anyway, as they always repeated the full message the next day :/

Would have been far better doing it the next day once the evictee had learned a few home truths. Imagine the mischief and havoc that could have been caused.

Here's hoping BB have a re-think about that!

Heh. Maybe but that would be a little unfair on Anton...since it seemed to be only him she had a problem with.

yeah, but that was the only housemate that she was given any info on: I'm sure she'd loved to have heard the way Jay was describing her as being in bed etc...... BB could have REAL fun with this type of info, then allowing the message to be recorded. :D

I would love to see that happen, but it could be seen as contact from the outside world. Whoever the evicted was will have that knowledge over them and could either use a code or some sign to certain housemates.

Yes it would expose that rat Anton, but that's part of the show when some housemates play the game like Anton is playing.

Mmmm.... the latter part - true enough. Given Maisy's complete surprise at how two faced Anton has been with her - it would ruin the element of surprise in that respect. Good thinking !

We said exactly the same thing here.
