Are channel 5 releasing the eviction voting percentage?

I know Aden's staying power over Heaven was less that 0.5% (probably due to Heaven's friend annoying the crowd) but do we know the results and does Brian say the results have been verified by an independent adjudicator the way Davina did?

What's Brian's voting spiel as I don't recall him mentioning anything about the results being officially checked, or am I imagining this.

Would love to know how close Maisy and Tashie were in their respective weeks.

I don't understand why they are not releasing them, I love the statistics part of BB. :(

I think they don't want fans to get too complacent if their favourite housemates get too many votes.

How do we know that the results are true? Channel 5 can quite easily manipulate a few votes to keep the likes of Aden in when they look at voting patterns leading up to eviction.

Still refuse to believe that more people took the trouble to vote for do-nothing Aden against annoying but doing something Heaven. With vote to save it's people who actually do something that tend to get saved.

It seems so hollow not knowing the results. The only thing better than seeing Sezar BB7's cocky face turn to shock when he was evicted was Davina telling him the record (at the time) 89% percentage of votes to evict.

I suspect the only result we will see is when Channel 5 ensure the Geordie thug wins by a landslide. Sigh of sighs.

Don't know about Maisy or Tashie, but on Aaron's fans facebook, it was reported he got 59% of the vote the week he was up against Aden and Heaven.

Channel 5 voting is monitored by Electoral Reform Services.

Doesn't stop them releasing them after the final

Yeah, after they've engineered the 'right' result. :joker:

What about the verification bit. Does Brian say this? How do we know the results aren't being 'massaged' and tampered with?

Your are a forum member after my own heart. A lot of suss stuff going on this BB, and it started when they announced no live feed then made all the excuse possible under the sun to excuse themselves against what fans want/ed. They treat the fans like dirt, they have a total lack of respect for them, and it disgusts me.

I've just emailed Electoral Reform Services, asking them to supply me with the voting percentages.

Shouldn't think they will for one minute, but I intend to take this further, as CH5/Endemol must be held accountable.

I think on another older thread on this, that someone said you have to pay to see the percentages, and something in me tells me if that is the case then as it isn't openly there for the public to view, that the percentages can't be posted up if someone manages to get them.

I just think when people vote for something whether it's an election or some crappy poll you should know the actually % result. We know the Election percentages. We should know TV voting results. Especially if there is money involved to vote.

Basically Channel 5 are saying: give us yer money, but we're not going to clarify how it makes a difference. I still think if the voting result between say Aaron and ANother housemate is close then channel 5 will try and engineer Aaron getting the boot to ensure a smooth victory for their favorite. It will also provide a 'shock result'.

Or if Anton is up against Tom this may be manipulative result. People really dislike Anton but find his devious ways at least entertaining whereas others seem to indifferent/ bored of Tom ie he's just 'meh'. So Anton haters may not be bothered to pick up the phone/ Facebook to keep Tom so channel 5 can manipulate that result to keep Anton as it's hard to tell who would win in a Tom v Anton battle.

Also, you often hear about phone lines being jammed but charging the voters anyway but not registering the vote etc. It's all a bit dodgy of channel 5

Thanks for that, I'll do a search and see if I can find the thread.

It's hard to imagine that the bookmakers are accepting bets, but not privy to this information!

I've just emailed Jeff Ford too, if they don't supply the figures, then I'll contact Ofcom.

That's disgraceful. If people are paying to vote (ok so 7p on Facebook credits doesn't sound alot but you have to buy at least £1 unit, and I can see teenies spending £5 an eviction that comes to £40 for the whole series. Why make people pay twice to get the result they created in first place. Greed.

This probably annoys me more than lack of LF (irritating but it happened in BB10) and the now obvious taking the p*ss Jay bias.

Channel 5 are playing a very dangerous game in light of recent TV voting scandals and cons. Channel 5 doesn't have a lot of 'flagship' shows and should be trying to make everything right. Be interested to see what they correct next year.

Ok, this is the reply from Electoral Reform Services. I've already emailed Jeff Ford, so lets see what he has to say!

Hi,

Thank you for your email. Please direct your query toward the programme as we are unable to release results information to anyone other than our clients.

Kind regards,
