View Full Version : Aaron Aaron dupes Jay and Louise

Having been a Mark supporter and struggling to throw my support behind any of the remaining HMs I am now 100% in the Aaron camp:
During yesterday's open nomination discussions apparently Aaron told Jay that he was nominating Harry* and that swayed Jay into dropping Faye as his second nom and replacing her with Harry. Aaron had no intention of nominating Harry and by getting Jay to nom Harry that ensured JAY himself would be up along with the rest of Wolfpack.
* I think Aaron played up his anger that Harry nominated Faye the previous week.
Aaron also got Louise to nominate Aden by telling her Aden had nominated her - which apparently he didn't do.
Welcome back game player Aaron. You've been missed.:hugesmile::elephant:

That's what I like about BB, the 'really' good game playing, hopefully without the nastiness :D Makosi was an expert at it until she messed up in that pool with Mr dull. Pity as she was one of my favourites that series.

And Anton claims to be the smartest housemate in there...... pfft.... he needs to look at Aaron - watch and learn.
Everyone seems to forget something that Aaron said way back in Week 1 in the Diary room...... it's a game. He knows it's a game and he's playing it superbly. :D

Aaron is no bodies fool. Fay was a distraction but I've come to realise Aaron is actually really intelligent and knows exactly what he's doing, right down to his kookiness which belies a sharp astute mind (well sharp by BB standards).
I think Aaron knew he was going to be up and understood where the balance of power lies ie Alex, Louise. Tom was never doing to nominate Faye anyway so courting his vote wasn't as important.

Inevitable with some of the smartest players, who probably guessed if they play the game right they can survive the waters, they have to dip their toes in to find that out. Craig BB1 was always being nommed and up and went on to win :) It's not what you do, it's the way that you do it, that's what really counts :D

I think Aaron knew that. It's not a huge shock to him considering he's lost 2 of his closest allies this week (Maisy who generally was fond of him and best buddy Mark). One thing Aaron knows is where the land lies and the odds were stacked, but what he's done is stop it from being Aaron v Fay (which is what your sexist hero Jay aka 'brains' and gimp Anton wanted) and made it a 5-way dog fight knowing full well that Wolfpack fans will have a inter-fan battle ie loads of Aden fans are Anton fans. Also, Aarons brought Aden into play and he knows that he's got more votes than Aden when they were up against Heaven.
Just read that Aaron started studying for a law degree but had to quit for personal reasons. He's clearly nobodies fool, but keeps that aspect hidden unlike Anton who likes to remind us:
Anton: "I'm the cleverest in the house"
Aden: " There's no such word as cleverest"
Anton: "I know. Exactly"
Nice work, Aaron. Nice work.

It's arrogant of Jay when he said something along the lines of 'I want to be up so I can beat Aaron' - it wasn't quite this as he struggles to form complete sentences in non-Geordie.

Yes because as Aaron stated it would originally have been a two way eviction, Anton vs Faye, of course Anton has a better chance of survival when there's 5 people up than if it were just him and Faye

I don't know, I think Jay is actually popular. There are loads of females on Twitter who love him, only Louise has more Facebook support (this is the key voting demographic as it's 7p a vote).
Jay's family and Geordie chums have organised a very good Facebook/ Twitter campaign (they learnt lessons from Josie last year), Aaron's circle need to up their game on that score tbh.

Wrong, she actually told Faye that she regards him as trustworthy - in fact, I am pretty certain that that was the precise word she used: Trustworthy.
She did, Faye is fine with Aaron now, I also think Jemma realises that Faye really likes Aaron and no matter what, I believe Aaron really likes Faye too.
If Faye makes Aaron feel happier and more secure in there, I am all for that.
She has thrown out all Jemma initially said as to Aaron but I think Jemma was digging to see how much Faye has in fact fallen for Aaron, has learned that Faye has and is happy at this time for the way things are.
All Jemma has really said in the diary room as to Aaron is that she thinks he is just shy. Hardly anything bad and she also knows Faye nominated Aaron last week too but has seen Aaron let that go.
Not all agree but I think Faye and Aaron make a nice couple now. good luck to them.
I hope I am not wrong though,I don't feel I am.

I don't think you should count your chickens on that one.
If Aaron does have the most votes, Brian will revert to a no 'particular order' order eg may be Fay 'saved' first.
If Jay has the most votes then Brian will say Jay. Channel5 really want him to win. I reluctantly caught BBOTs last night 2 nights in a row on both shows the whole show was about Jay, from the opening segment where Emma Willis does humour to random clips to a section on hygiene in the house with Kim Woodburn (Kim and Aggie) which was just an excuse to show more Jay. The night before the quiz had a Jay section.

What Aaron says and what I suspect he thinks is clearly not the same.
He's playing the game. He knew full without 2 allies Maisy and Mark the Wolfpack were stronger and yet he ensured they were up too. Which is quite an achievement when you consider that floater Tom likes Anton and is still not on as good terms with Aaron as he was before kissgate, floater Alex is roughtly from the same part of the world as Jay, Louise is a close associate of the Wolfpack.

To be fair, Alex* is hardly any smarter than Jay on the representing Geordie stakes.
Jay's campaign is based very heavily on the fact he's from Newcastle. He's even roped in the orange girls off Geordie Shore to support him (they hate Alex as they know only one Geordie can make it)
*I know Alex isn't actually from Newcastle but to a lay person she is

I certainly don't believe for one minute people from the North East are in any way as Jay is portraying them.
I know lots of people from that area via Uni and really get on with all of them.
Like you though I am puzzled at his seemingly high profile, I don't know anyone who likes Jay and especially for his gross personal habits.

I have a feeling Brian will announce, the 2 people with the most votes and thereby safe are, then name them. After that he will then add the 3 names left as getting the fewer votes announcing the one who got the least and leave the rest to them to try to work out.
I would love him to announce Aaron and Faye as the 2 with the most votes if he does it that way though.

Have to agree again, I know this is channel 5 BB but we weren't told of rule changes, we've even had Jay making notes out of things and getting away with it, even Aden gave Tom a written note to give to Rebeckah, they are not supposed to use pens or pencils or write anything except in tasks or the shopping list.
However amazingly, Tom was able to give Rebeckah Aden's note but Tom could not be allowed to give Aden Rebeckah's message as to Aaron without bringing punishment on the house.I still wish he had though.
As you more or less point out,big double standards and in the main covering up and protecting Jay's daft pack at least anyway.

Aaron has that finesse which Anton lacks. Don't get me wrong, I don't beleive for one second that Aaron is the humble nervy guy we see in the show (I still remember the VT) but Anton is just being cocky and Aaron has other aspects to his character other than gameplaying which redeem him. Anton has nothing else in the pot, Jay has nothing else other than being vile. Aden doesn't even have gameplaying.

Tad harsh!
Fay is smarter than Alex in a conventional sense, but I agree Alex does have high emotional intelligence and is able to suss things out. Fay does things that are really spiteful or emotionally stupid e.g. having gossipy sessions with Maisy about Aaron when he's 1meter away, flirting with Anton and asking if he has a semi, nominating Aaron without talking through her issues etc.

From the male pov: I'd say Harry.
It still was pretty smart of Aaron to work and toy with the housemates the way he did to get the ones up for nomination that he wanted to - the Wolfpack...and not just one of them... ALL THREE.

Faye is moving along in the world learning things, Alex is 'playing it safe' in my view. I don't think that makes her more emotionally intelligent as is being suggested lately in this thread

Hopefully soon, she's move along in the world and learn that wiping your snot on sofas isn't the thing for any 19year old to be doing.
jjust so we get the thread back on topic, what are your thoughts on Aaron duping the housemates into nominating the Wolfpack. quite a smart move in getting them all up for nominations in one fell swoop eh!

Interesting, when Anton or any other previous housemate in BB history, has done the same they were hated for it, but 'Lord' Aaron does it and he's seen as a hero..
Yes I do find that strange

Sure, but on a broader level game playing in general is relevant to the discussion and it's odd that Anton is vilified for it and Aaron is praised when it's him who's manipulating things

Agreed. Personally, I like them both, but this convo proved that Aaron is probably a much better gameplayer than Anton.

Hmm I see your point, same principle though it's just that Aaron is more subtle, doesn't mean he's being any less of a "snake". I don't have a problem with him doing it btw, I like Anton and I like game playing - to a certain extent - but I just think it's odd one is criticised and the other praised

Given that Anton betrayed one of his best mates in there (Harry) - a close friend of Aaron - Anton set himself up for a fall. Aaron brought that about by way of playing a pretty skilled move and one that Anton never even saw coming his way. I think such intelligence and the way he managed to pull it off was pretty ingenious. Let's be honest here, Anton's sneaky behaviour warranted it - you know the saying about fighting fire with fire don't you.
All Aaron has done is played Anton at his own game. And so far, Aaron's winning by a mile.

I like gameplayers including Anton, but I think whats done alot of people with Anton is in the first 2 weeks in paticular he would not shut his mouth about sex so it was bringing him and the series down a bit.

Very good point bblover2.
I'm pretty sure this place would be in uproar if Aaron had done that. It's an excellent comparison.
Besides which: not only did Anton lie that he didn't know who had done the dirty - he lied that he was involved (yet he too put a bottle of dye in - red dye I think was his, blue dye was Jay), as well as swearing on his mother's life -.... all to someone in the house (harry) who regarded him as a close friend in the house.
Anton got what was coming to him, as did Jay and Aden. It's time they felt what it's like to be up for eviction - see how they like it for a change.
Watching Anton bang on about how fine he was with it -whilst not shutting up about it - shows how pissed he is.

What was so brilliant about this deceptive move was he duped arch rival JAY. oK, so that's not a mean feat, but given how much Jay despises Aaron it's shocking that Jay would fall for that. It was audacious, such temerity. Not only did it lead to Jay being up, it sealed the fate of all the wolfpack and just showed that Aaron is a lot smarter than he wants people to think. That mumbly stumbly nervy awkward character he projects is not real, but conceals a shrewd gameplayer.
I didn't like him in the beginning but I have to hand it to him, he knows exactly what he's doing.
Again, Aaron is a game-player we all knew this from the start - I back Mark. But he's doing it with a deft touch, finesse and a touch of class that it's enjoyable.

BIB - Absolutely. Given that Jay thinks he's the Alpha male in there - Aaron once again, manages to wipe the floor with him, without lifting a finger.

And the fact that the bait was Harry. The same Harry that's good friends with Aaron. The same Harry who was washing his clothes with Aaron when clothes/ Ketchup/ Food colouring gate happened. The same Harry who was t*ting about with Aaron mucking around on the Toy Task to defy Jay. The same Harry who had the backing off Aaron for the banana food budget. You can't make this stuff up. If the bait had been Tom then it would have been more credible. Even as someone who blatantly can't stand Jay I am disappointed at how poor he is at this. I almost want to be wrong about this, because thinking how clueless Jay is doesn't bare thinking about.
All the Wolfpack had to do was vote Aaron and Fay. Simple. No changing of minds, no bargain making, just stick to the 2 same people. I think Anton did, even Aden did. But leader Jay couldn't even do that. He couldn't even do the easiest thing. He couldn't even stick to the 2 people who he and Anton and Aden had agreed to nominate.

Aaron and Harry;
Jay’s first nomination was for Aaron. Jay said that he “saved his skin last week” and that Aaron leaving the house would be “no love lost.” Jay’s second nomination was for Harry because he says “I’ve been eating bananas, tomato sauce and frosted flakes for a week. I’m suffering.”

Nah, he does i reckon. Jay has reiterated how desperate for he is to be up against Aaron. Jay is obsessed. In fact he first said this as far back as the day it was announced Heaven, Aden and Aaron were nominated. He repeated it on that bitching session when he saw Aaron in the garden with Mark and WRONGLY b*tched that Aaron is constantly seeking attention and comfort from Mark, when in fact Mark was hinting that he wanted to leave and Aaron was trying to help him. He said it again on BBOTs nomination reveal aftermath.

Who cares what Jay wants? Aaron hates the vile, foulmouthed, disgusting yobbo - and that's not in his head - his dislike is based on what he's seen and heard having lived with the neanderthal for the past few weeks.
There's no law says Aaron has to like Jay or socialise with him - Jay needs to get over himself and move on. He's the one banging on about it constantly, he just can't stand that Aaron isn't going to kiss his a*se.

Way aye man, cors it is, aye man, too right.
Jay's probably voted Aaron because he's Mr Smooth Operator and still has Faye - whereas Jay's been shown to be an abyssmal failure as far as being a babe magnet is concerned.
Harry was a target from bananagate --- clearly Jay can't take his own advice that he dishes out (ie; just get over it and move on).

Yea, he did so that the viewers would saw 'aawww what a good sport that Jay is'. Jay knows he needs to do something, anything to regain the likeable cheeky chappy/ Professional Geordie routine that was exposed as a bit fake when he went mad in banana gate
Thankfully Jay is transparent with poor acting skills. His contempt for Aaron is palpable. Especially when he refered to Aaron as 'that' when he asked Fay 'why would you want to go for that'. Like I've said, Aaron's playing a game too, but he is playing it better and has other things going for him beside playing the game.

Quite.
Jay's been trying to sook up Aaron's arse now for ages - in a futile attempt to avoid being nominated.
The Lord has taken him down the road that Jay wanted so badly - he gave him what he wished for - being up for eviction. Now, that's what I call consideration.
