Yeah but there's a difference between starting that as a bit of a joke and actually having segregated groups that are hostile to one another and causing animosity in the house, noone really wants that and the Wolfpack didn't really cause any of that early on in the show

The Wolfpack wasn't that serious though, I think as far as Jay was concerned it was just a nickname for their friendship group, it wasn't like "if you're not in it, we don't like you". And like you said in the other thread Jay is blaming Anton as well so it seems that he does think the whole "team" thing has gone too far
Vicky.

Yeah I agree with that. Just think its highly hypocritical to whinge on about groups..when he was the one that started all that crap, thats all.

What's really funny is he's saying Aarons trying to spite Anton, Anton;s trying to spite Aaron, I don't want none of it. No, Jay you've spent 4 weeks trying to be spiteful to Aaron. He deliberately set up the Wolfpack to be a leader and isolate housemates such as Tom, Aaron, Harry and Tashie

The main problem with the wolfpack is that Jay is the leader, he isn't smart enough. It should have been Anton from the start.

Got to agree, it would have been better with Leader Anton, but Jay's is intimidating. Anton couldn't intimidate a ladybird.
The wolfpack was a gang designed to protect its members who had to be the *right sort of housemate*: I can remember the 2 main episodes when the wolfpack was formed. Tashie wanted join and was basically told to get lost. That was the moment I instantly disliked Jay. Aaron, Harry and Louise decided not to join. That was the moment I thought Aaron and Harry were OK and Louise may have more to her. Then Jay made Mark snort the chillis. That was the moment I realised the wolfpack were numpties.:joker:

The Wolfpack has to be one of the biggest fails in terms of gameplan in the history of BB.
That's because it consisted on a pack of twonks who together had the IQ and intelligence of a donkey (yes one donkey) and the personalities of _ _ _ _ _ _ [fill in missing blanks!]

I think they all just underestimated Aaron and his influence over the house. I don't think people take Anton and Jay particularly seriously.
Jake.
12-10-2011, 05:03 PM
Whoever thinks Anton is intelligent needs to think. He REALLY believed he would have 2 nominations or 3 at most and was CERTAIN that Harry didn't nominate him, yet look at how that turntable out. Face it, the wolfpack was going to fail from the start, and when Anton leaves on Friday it will be nomore (unless Jay fancies sitting there plotting by himself)

They did underestimate Aaron and as you say, Aaron's influence on the other housemates - big time. As for no one taking Anton and Jay seriously - hardly any wonder ! And as ever - despite it being Jem, Harry and Aaron who walked out on the task - he focuses again on only one person - Aaron. LOL :D
There's Jay moaning about the fact there are groups - HE was the one who set up the Wolfpack with his sidekick Anton & Aden alongside him! PMSL. Diddums doesn't want to play that game anymore because he's losing!! :D
Yet again - Jay's moaning, ranting and in a bad mood. If food was such an issue to him - why enter a show that often has hms eating basics - without all the extra takeaways, meals and booze this lot get for easily achievable individual tasks.......
Big wimp.

Aaron also has some emotional intelligence which Anton and Jay lack, so it was Aaron and Mark who comforted Aden when he had his 2nd wobbly over Rebeckah, and Aaron who entertains Aden's silly modelling aspirations. Anton doesn't really give a fig about Aden's feelings he's just someone to vote with and discuss crude sex stories with Jay. Aaron pretends to give a fig which means if Aden stays he wont nominate Aaron (deep down he thinks Aaron isn't bad but is too consumed with Wolfpack propaganda to see this now) and will switch to Louise.

People should watch the earlier footage of when the Wolfpack was first 'born.' It wasn't meant to be taken seriously. They were all just having a laugh and bonding with each other. There was no nastiness involved and all were invited to join if they wished.
I think there are some people on here who just fail at seeing the difference between bitchy cliques and people who were just having a laugh together. In what was the early stages of friendship.

You clearly didn't see the Wolfpack's bitching sessions then.....and that was after the intial formation - Jay bitching like an old fishwife coz Aaron was getting all the female attention, Aden joining in......

they formed a clique right back then and it has been going ever since that moment.. Jay doesn't take it seriously i don't think but Anton and Aden on the other hand have taken it really seriously.. luckily the two most intelligent people in the house ( Aaron & Harry) have managed to stay well away from it

Do you think it has been like that more recently? Like as in the past few weeks.
As to me it seems quite obvious there has been an us V them mentality from the wolfpack boys...which has now also been adopted by the others...which is what jay doesnt like.
That said, I do think Anton and Aden have took the wolfpack thing MUCH more seriously than Jay has, maybe this is why it comes across this way as 2 members take it really serious :/

There wouldn't have been any teams - if a certain trio wouldn't have initiated their own breakaway group known as the Wolfpack.
Groups would have formed naturally - but the Wolfpack was deliberately designed to segregate them (out of fun intially or not) - but it was formed with intent. That's the difference but hey: it's all good, coz his come right round and bit them all hard on their arses. And it's a joy to see it happening :D

A certain trio? Faye was in it, Rebeckah was in it, I think Tom might have been it as well at some point, there was a few of them and it was pretty much open to anyone. They didn't really intend to segregate themselves at all, it was a jokey nickname for their friend group that had formed naturally, it's just that as house divisions have now become more prominent it places more emphasis on the different "teams"

yes, as I said, a certain trio. Jay, Aden and Anton were the ones who initially formed the Wolfpack - then began discussing who to let join, what initiations should be done before membership was allowed.
And as I said: they chose to break away and form a group - with intent - whether out of fun or not - and it has come right back round and slapped the 3 instigators hard on the face.
It's quite brilliant really - spectacular own goal for them. They'd have been better calling themselves the Misguided Mutts. :D
