I think they will renew it for a CBB9 and BB13 but I think that will be it unless they bring back live feed.

I reckon they'll renew CBB but I don't think there's much hope for normal BB.

With the ratings the show is pulling in for Channel 5, it's doing them wonders. I can't see it being axed any time too soon.

CBB is a great deal for Channel5. Having over 5 million people watching the Launch then about 2 million watching it every night for 3 weeks is amazing for them.
I'm not sure about normal BB though, I know the ratings aren't a disaster but considering how much they paid for the show, I'd guess they're rather unimpressed with its perfomance.

I think we'll just get CBB9 and BB13...
I'd love for them to renew it and to actually keep the 5 year contract after that, I just don't see it, some good things probably should come to an end though.

only cbb plz
No I don't think so, they can get almost the same viewers just by airing CSI repeats which is a lot cheaper

I hope they renew it so they can get at least 4 seasons out of normal and celeb

They have a 5 Year Contract, not 2 - Jeff Ford recently said.
Anyway, yes they will - even when it runs out.

I bet they'll try to renew it but for a lower price which Endemol probably won't accept, sadly. It's fair to say it's doing good for the channel but it's not worth another £80m for two more years.

I expect another 3 years,(after next years series), they will need live feed for the future ones though. I believe however live feed of sorts will be back for next years series anyway.
It's been good enough to warrant a new contract and there is nothing really that Channel 5 could likely get that would bring in night after night, week after week the ratings that even this series of BB is.

Yes I agree with that although they might only be interested in getting CBB.

If this is true... let's hope we get some form of live-feed... 5 years of CBB and Big Brother will make me a happy man <3.

If we get more years like this, yes please.
If it turns horrible again, it can **** off and be buried again. I still have BB1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 & 10 to watch anyway :amazed:

Yeah it does get more viewers, I suppose they do have to splash out on the celebrities but then again it's not on for so long a time and generates a lot more media interest so they might stick with it if they can get decent celebs

CBB is **** and thats the reason for why BB12 has got **** ratings because CBB8 was that bad.

BB has got **** ratings because they overkilled it. Not many people would watch the same show every day for nearly 3 months in a row. (CBB + BB). Not anymore anyway.

Lmao CBB was actually something of a success for C5, and got good ratings throughout

No I don't think they will after next year's BB. I doubt they will get rid of CBB though if it pulls in 2m an episode. Normal BB gets just over a million each night and it costs a fortune to make so unless the ratings randomly rise next year then I don't see much of a future for it.

I should imagine they were anticipating the ratings to drop where it moved from C4 to C5. The ratings will be higher next year where people will be used to it being on there and from the fans they have picked up from this series. However, a lot of that will rest on whether they'll bring back L/F or not. I think another year without L/F could potentially kill it off, ratings wise. They need to be more honest with their editing in the highlights show too.

I hope they are not allowed to. They are protecting vile behaviour eg Jay and Anton and hanging others out to dry eg Heaven and Aaron to cover up

I think The celebrity's are in their to make themselves "big" again, but it does not tend to work bless them
while even though some regular bb housemates want Fame, alot relies you wont get it
