I agree - she brings a lot of fun to the house - and we're getting so see more of that - as well as her getting on very well with most of them.

Yeah nice gesture....and if I were Alex I would be totally in awe of the gesture...but FFS this is a third of the food budget....wouldnt you be saying and insisting that you totally love the gesture but 'lets get real'....and despite the 'banana showdown' last week at least it is a food source!!!... Had anyone else wanted hair extensions taking up such a huge porportion of the shopping budget it may have been a different case.The only people who would quite rightly not questioned it would be Aaron Harry and Anton who were all up to manipulating the food shopping last week.

Don't worry J, some folks only relate to others through friction and stress. If there isnt any they get confused as to what a HM is doing to 'deserve' their place.

Alex entertains ME every episode by making me laugh, and there are obviously a ton of folks out there that get her as well.

I think some of the criticism on here is highly unfair. She looked genuinely shocked when they mentioned to her about clubbing together to get her hair extensions. She said she didn't want them and that she'd rather they spent the money on food instead. She didn't demand they buy the hair extensions for her nor did she force them to chalk it up on the shopping list either. It was a nice gesture on the HMs part.

She seems like a genuinely nice girl who has brought a lot of cheer and warmth to the house.

Thank you Aaron, Harry and Anton...That was one of the kindest things anyone has ever done for Alex...
Alex would rather they spent the money on food but they genuinely wanted to buy them for her, For me that says it all, she is well liked and Harry and Aaron look upon her as a young sister. That was so kind of Anton too and I think Alex was quite overwhelmed by their lovely kind gesture....especially when the budget was so low....None of the other housemates seemed to mind at all and it seemed they wanted her to have them too...
