i hardly ever start topics on here it took me ages to figure out how to lol but anyway i keep seeing alex being compared to rachel rice. how on earth is alex like rachel rice? shes far more funny and entertaining than rachel ever was she keeps the house spirits high and her chats with harry and Aaron r great. shes there for louise and jay they both spoke about each other to alex and she never judged either she listened and gave advice where she cud. the spray tan was one of the funniest moments of this years bb. so how is she anything like rachel rice who hardly even spoke. louise is a bit like rachel but alex isnt (imo0

I don't think it's bad her being compared to Rachel Rice. Rachel was another quite likeable housemate, so if anything I would see that as a compliment.

Indeed! She keeps being compared to Josie and Rachel. She is nothing like them at all. People just say that on here because they have a limited vocabulary and thinking capacity and are unable to produce a better response so resort to likening her to them.

I have never likened her to anyone else but I'm not sure what you are saying in your post.
You think all forum members here have limited vocabulary and thinking capacity or just those who have likened Alex to a previous housemate?

Both inoffensive, nice people (at least from what we've seen in the house, which all that matters). Both have a fun spirit to them, neither enjoy conflict, and Alex is on her way to winning like Rachel did her year.

There's definitely similarities.

She isnt anything like Rachel.

The fans of other HMs need something to attack her on and try to bring her down with though, and that's the best they can do... an attempt to damn Alex by some imagined association with Rachel (who according to forum fashionable opinion was a 'bad' winner).

This actually is a good thing though. It shows they see their own faves losing to her and therefore feel the need bring her down somehow and that they have nothing else with which to do it.

Rachel Rice didn't think being a empty headed bimbo was particularly clever or entertaining. She was a little dull, but certainly wasn't pretending to be something she's not, unlike Alex who lies about her intelligence left right and centre to get attention

Yep, she is now officially the blockade to their favourites winning (which ofc applies to every supporter of any other HM who isnt Alex) so the knives will be coming out more and more as we get closer to the end.

Fans of other HMs will out number the fans of Alex and so a anti-Alex shared forum 'feeling' will solidify (in her case the plan of attack is her being 'undeserving' because they have nothing else) and validate and spread the notion amongst those looking for a reason to criticise her, but this fourm feeling will in no way reflect the mass voters views as it polarises itself into it's own mini false reality and she will win anyhow.

It's just the way this and other forums operate. Kind of why I generally stop visiting a couple of weeks out of the end tbh.

these same people go to everyones forum and slag the people off.we all have people we like and people we dont.it is very shallow to just think one person should win it and thats your favourite.i want alex to win but i wouldnt mind if aaron,harry or faye won it.really not bothered as long as its not the wolfpack.i stick up for the others in their forums and vote for the others but coming in just to put alex down coz shes favourite is only going to turn alex fans in to aaron haters

Nothing against her, but I do find Alex dull and no less dull than Louise. I am sick of BB producers manufacturing her best bits 'fake tan, lipstick pedometre walkout, barbie quiz and marcarana'. People will say she did the sock treasure hunt, wrong even that was Tom's idea. BB manufacturing tasks and highlights for a housemate is what they did with Rachel Rice.

Aaron hasn't had many (if any) secret tasks as he brings the drama and Mark even made a task up

I officially prefer Louise, yes *Louise*, to Alex. Which is a shame as I wanted to like namesake.

why do i not feel the need to go louise forum and tell everyone i think shes dull.oh i know she hasnt done anything wrong to do that to her.if you feel the need to go around forums just slating people for the hell of it you must be very bored

Rachel Rice was annoyingly passive and hid a lot of her real self. Alex is as daft as they day's long, but she does get stuck in to whatever's going on and I think what you see is what you get with her.

She's not like Rachel. Is she in the background for the most part? Yes BUT she plays a big part in the house and unlike Rachel, people like her AND she's entertaining when given the chance. The house isn't annoyed at her like they were Rachel. For the most part, they laugh with Alex.

Rachel was just boring, plain and straight. I still have no clue how she won. Would've preferred Mikey or even the new girl. I don't even remember who was in the final lol!

Rachel Rice is more like Louise in terms of being quiet and a bit on the fence but Rachel was a bit more hyperactive like Alex.

However to me Alex is the whole package. Never a dull moment. I don't think she really manipulates or analyses people that much. She just takes things as a pinch of salt. She is loveable and hilarious without meaning to be. I love her on her own and with other people. I don't care what housemates look like. In terms of personality Alex is a million times better than Rachel Rice, Sophie Reade and Josie Gibson.

Alex Rose and Harry Blake are the only 2 deserving winners for me. They would both make the best winners for the normal Big Brother we have ever had in quite a few years.

Alex is like no other housemate to be honest. Maybe characteristics from a few previous housemates but she is one in a million.

from what i seen when someone asked aaron v alex a lot said arron but wasnt bothered if alex won.its just a small few that comes on her to slag alex off for no reason i am not say all aaron fans cause most of them are lovely but novo seems hell bent on being really nasty for no reason
