Boos are easily heard so there must have been mainly cheers for Jay. I too was shocked and tried to listen out for the booing but it seems to be majority cheering. It doesn't matter whether he was first to be saved or third. No one knew where the other would come in the vote to save. Aaron came first but the crowd seemed very quiet he even got boos.
Jay on the otherhand came third and received what appeared to be a very good reception regardless of whether he had mates in the crowd.
