To be fair, all of the goodbye messages i've seen this year have been crap! I can't remember the UK format over the years, but on Aussie BB the housemates used to make a comment about every housemate. So, u normally got at least one housemate getting pissed off about the message. Is BB just editing this year, instead of showing the full message?
